I was a patient for about 10 years and experienced a number of difficulties with this practice. Dr. Foyle is a competent optometrist. His exams are thorough and diagnosis accurate. However, I found him to be dismissive about treatment alternatives for my condition (amblyopia). Also, Dr. Foyle was somewhat passive about finding the best combination of vision correction and comfort with my contacts. The Accuviews he prescribed were okay, but the compromises I complained about didnt prompt much action. Another concern was the office staff. I found them to be lazy, forgetful, and careless. On several occasions, samples or prescriptions either didnt get ordered, or took weeks to arrive. A sample I received from the office stock was expired by more than 4 years! This was the incident that got me to switch doctors. My new doc is remarkable. I wish I had swiched sooner.

I have been going to Dr. Foyle for exams and glasses for at least 15 years and have been more than satisfied with his professional service. Cannot say the same for the staff as my last two encounters have led me to feel that they dont really have customer service in mind. I went in to ask that they replace a screw in my frames and was advised they couldnt do it that day as their "technician" wasnt in - even though I advised that I live more than 20 miles from their office and would have to make a round trip to come back to pick up the glasses another day. I went to an office near my home and they replaced the screw in about 20 seconds.

I want my glasses back. I gave the staff my eye glass frames for new progressive lenses and they somehow lost them. I just want them back. I went here because I quite literally lived across the street at 247 South Sierra. They lied to me and mislaid my eye glasses. Those things arent cheap.
