I found a stray sickly puppy and took him home with me. I called several vets in Stockton to see if they could help this puppy and allow me to make a down payment and payments to nurse him back to health. American Veterinary Hospital was the only one that agreed. I brought him right in and they ran tests on him and found out he had parvovirus and agreed to work with me and do everything they could to save this little guy. Dr. Singh and Lena are angels! They kept in contact with me with updates on him the entire time he was in their care. After 4 days he was well enough to come home. The next morning Lena called me to see how he was doing. That meant so much to me. I have no doubt in my mind that if it wasnt for this vet office, my little guy would have perished because no other vet would even consider seeing him without payment in full upfront. I believe that American Veterinary Hospital is exactly what a vet office should be.. they are professional, caring, compassionate, loving, understanding and I believe they are not in it for the money but for the animals well being. I have found a new place that I trust to take care of and do whats in the best interest of my animals; American Veterinary Hospital and its staff is truly a blessing for all animals and animal lovers!! Thank you Dr. Singh and Lena!! <3 Gremlin is doing great thanks to you guys!!

Please eveyone listen to me!! This is the best Vet you will ever have for your babies!!! (and yes I mean animals). This Vet has saved my dogs numerous times and has always been there for me whenever I needed them. Where do you find that these days? Youll find it at American Vet Hospital in Stockton, Ca. off of I-5 and Hammerlane on Kelly. No, I am not being paid to put this comment on to this site, as a matter of fact, I have never done this before, so that should tell you just how much I trust this facility, Doctor and Staff, with my "loves of life". Have a great day and appreciate all that life brings to you! Mark and Midge Penrose (customers for 14 years) I also forgot to say that we travel 1/2 hr away and it is well worth our time to go to this Doctor!!

I have been to American Veterinary Hospital a few times now and have always been greeted with a smile. The whole team does a great job of explaining the costs and educating you about the difference between one procedure and another. I had my 5 month old puppy spayed here and being a first time dog owner I did not know much about the entire process. They did an amazing job explaining the procedure and how to care for my puppy afterwards. They were even kind enough to help me walk my puppy out to my car after the procedure. I cannot say enough great things about AVH. Overall I have had nothing but great service and will be back for all of my puppies medical needs.

I have been taking my kitty Callie to Dr. Brar Singh for almost 8 years. I still remember when I took Callie to him for first time for the different opinion he kissed her, Hes the one who diagnosed her with diabetes. I was not sure that being 10 years old at that time she will live that long with diabetes. Recently she started to eat less and lost weight, They had to keep her at the hospital, the staff is so wonderful and caring. Unfortunately she had a liver cancer and I had to put my best friend to sleep. I just want to thank!!!!!!! the doctor and the staff for taking such a wonderful care of her during all these years.

I was recommended here by a family friend for my fur baby! My fur baby is a long German who wasnt fund of much but not aggressive the team there definitely made him feel comfortable that they were able to take care of everything we were there for since we hadnt gone to a vet in some time, although my bill was HIGH but we got alot done that it was well worth it and very reasonable! I HIGHLY recommend going in and getting information on there flea medicine that the dogs take not PUT on their fur because its made a HUGE difference on not only my dog my our family friends dog!!

I was checking around town for boarding for my two dogs when I came across american vet hosp. I had already been to couple of places in town and was not impressed with the facilities not to mention what they were charging for it. I was first drawn to them because of how inexpensive it was and then went there for my usual white glove inspection. Not only was the place nice and clean but they provided everything we needed. It was hassle-free and my dogs seemed eager to go back the next time I had them boarded which is always a good sign.

I have two cockapoos, one now 10 and the other going on 7, and have taken them to Dr. Singh at American Veterinary since they were both 8 weeks old. He is a tremendous doctor - very caring, knowledgeable and concerned when it comes to your pets. My older cockapoo (Coco - age 10) has had two surgeries performed by Dr. Singh - one a luxating patella and the other a torn ligament both done in the left leg and he did a tremendous job on the surgeries. I would highly recommend this doctor if you are in need of any veterinary advice.

There are not enough positive things that we could say about Dr. Brar & the staff at American Vet Hospital! They have supported our "family" through some very serious illnesses. Of course, we include Bailey, Lola & Lucky in the "family". The medical care they provide is first rate & the emotional support is outstanding! I volunteer with a German Shepherd Rescue organization and American Veterinary Hospital offered their services to help us with our medical and kenneling needs. I can say without hesitation the entire staff was easy to work with, they were always very accommodating to our needs, and they were very good handling our dogs (German Shepherds are not always the easiest breed to handle). The vets were easy to talk to and they always took the time to give me detailed information about the dogs medical needs.

Thank you for your sympathy and caring during our time of great grief. The staff at AVH sent the most heartfelt condolence card along with a paw print of our Mastiff Cain, who we had to put down. Our family is so grief stricken and lost without him, but know he was suffering. Your staff, from beginning to end, has been amazing, and my husband, myself and our family, appreciate everything. The empathy and sympathy felt goes much further than the words....Thank you, The Munoz family in Manteca.

Dr. Singh is very gentle and patient with my 3 pound yorkie. He has performed various procedures on her which required general anesthesia without any issues. I trust him completely. The office is very clean, the staff is really friendly. They always give me an appointment when I need one, even same day appointments. They offer grooming too. They give you treatment options without any "high pressure sales" to get you to go for the highest cost treatment. I highly recommend.
