Sure they may be caring and professional, but not financially, economically, even healthily! My parents took a German Shepherd to this veterinary, and they charged flippin $225 for all the vaccinations! Also, they claim it includes the cost for all needed things with the visits, but then because the dog was "a bit too heavy" they wanted my mom to buy something that is outside that package, for a total of $105!!! On top of that, they would vaccinate 2-3 different shots in one appointment each 2-3 weeks!!! Each visit, starting from the 2nd visit, they say that they will vaccinate the dog in a private room where the non-workers cant enter, only to forcefully pull out the number 2 from the dog, which is obviously torture! If you tell them you dont want them to do that, they ask "Why not." Fortunately, with answering that makes them to respect your preference and vaccinate the dog in front of you. Also, they strongly recommend you get their more expensive medical insurance, and they come up with different things like "If you dont spay the dog, the dog can get cancer, and spaying would cost you $600-$700, whereas the cancer treatment costs $6000, and if you dont spay your dog, and your dog gets cancer, and you cant afford the treatment, we put her down." Also, they said that they"ll need to test the dog for something, and that if tested positive, that we will have to pay for a surgery of $8000, or else the dog gets heart attack according to them. So put it this way. $225 for the incomplete package, which they at 1st say it completely covers all necessary things. $105 for something else later on. Another dog, that one which I found as an abandoned baby dog, smaller than a baby human, we gave her away to one of my brothers friend, and he took her to an actual affordable vet near Raleys. The cost for all vaccinations packaged: $80!!! Comparing to $225! And all vaccinations are given in that same day. Only drawback with that vet near Raleys is that its not open 24/7, only certain hours every day. Also, this vet Paws and Claws spays dogs for $600-$700! In the vet near Raleys, they spay 40 pound dogs for $170, something like that. Above all, when in the last appointment in Paws and Claws Veterinary Hospital I asked the veterinarian about if any veterinary charges a cheaper price for spaying, they flippin refused to answer that question!!! They dont give a hoot if youre not rich, or even if youre on the lower class!!! They only want to rob from you!!! Instead of answering the question, they said that if I want to spay the dog in another vet, that its fine! I wonder how much do these veterinarians in Paws and Claws Vet make comparing to the ones near Raleys. Perhaps Paws and Claws Veterinarians make over $300/hr!!! Its just a guess of mine. But do yourself a favor and do not feed to the wealth of these ones who have a high thirst for richness! They will want to pull out as much money as they can from you, and not care if they leave you broke!!! On the one near Raleys, sure its not free, but they actually care, and they will mention that theyre services are affordable. Dont crash yourself economically to raise their wealth to a ridiculously high level, when you could use that much more instead on covering other high needed expenses for your family, especially if youre lower class, much especially if youre a minimum wage earner. Conserve your money, play smart! Dont listen to the rich, think for yourself and help yourself!

I am extremely disappointed in the way their staff handled the situation last night. My friend brought in a dog that she found on the side of the road that seemed to be sick and they wanted nothing to do with it because she didnt have the money to support it because she just found the dog. You guys are in the field of animal medicine how about we remember why you got into the field in the first place..TO HELP ANIMALS NOT PROFIT OFF OF THEIR SICKNESS. At lease offer options such as a parvo test to see I we can keep her overnight. I am part of a Huge animal community and work with rescue organization and I will make sure that no one steps foot into this vet without hearing how heartless and unprepared you are VETS LIKE THIS MAKE ME SICK.

I recently had to do what most pet owners have to do but few talk about... I put my old, ailing dog to sleep. The staff at Paws and Claws were very sympathetic and took a lot of care and effort to make it as gentle an experience as possible for her. I was truly impressed with how the staff handled our visit. A lot of vets seem to have forgotten about the caring side of pet ownership - a part of what inspired them to be vets in the first place. -But the staff I met during my visit definitely still cared; Something you dont always see. Because of this, I highly recommend bringing your pet here if you have a troubling situation. Thank you Paws and Claws. You made a terrible situation bearable.

I will be taking my pets here from now on. My Maine Coon suffered an infected injury when he escaped the house one evening and the care we received from Paws and Claws was amazing. They were not only extremely helpful and kind to my cat, but they were wonderful my son and helped ease my stress of paying for a large vet bill immediately following my wedding. They did whatever they could to help bring the price down of the procedure and were truly genuinely kind people. We just added a new edition to our family and there is no question that all of his care will be at Paws and Claws.

The best experience ever, I was given an estimate and everything was explained to me. If you want quality care you have to pay for it. They did an ECG on my pet and found a bad heart, wow my pet might have died in surgery without it. They advised against the elective surgery. You know I would rather have my pet than vanity. I am so happy I went there. Everything they do has a purpose for the best treatment for your pet.

I love Paws and Claws. They saved the life of our beautiful German Shepherd a few months ago. They were very sensitive to our needs, allowing us to bring her pup in to visit her. They even let us lay down with her to console her. She was dying, now thanks to Dr. Limmer, she is healthy. Next, our lab got a mass on his chest, they took card if him that day. He is doing great! Our Banya and Lambert love the staff!!

I need more stars to describe Paws and Claws! They are so caring and professional and the staff is so friendly. I have used them for boarding and they also manage the health of my aging Pugs, Gibson and Harris. There is no one else I would consider for such a responsibility. The facility is cheery, and bright and they always have a treat waiting for the pups after a visit. They are the best in Tracy by far!

Went with a friend of mine that lives in Mountain House course it was all on a Saturday night essentially her dog had an inner ear infection and had vertigo they charged her $441 and treated her poorly and dressed her down so that she felt bad because she wasnt able to afford $800 for a simple ear infection I think that was out of hand they also recorded this information on the medical chart
