My dog ate chicken bones so I was trying to call and get information to see what I needed to do about this situation... When I called it rang for about 3 minutes then when someone finally answered all i could manage to get out of my mouth was " Hi, I had a question regarding-..." At this point I was cut off and was told hold very rude and abruptly. I then was on hold for 10 minutes and when someone else finally answere I told the girl I had a question regarding my dog and she ALSO cut me off and informed me this is only the help desk so there is nothing I can do for you (she didnt even know what I needed help with) then she asked if this was an emergency. I told her I wasnt sure so I was trying to find out. She replies you can leave a massage for someone for tomorrow but I wouldnt be able to help you with your problem anyways I was shocked that a) she never even knew if she could help me cause she never knew my problem b) I was put on hold for 13 minutes total c) she never even reffered me to a different number that COULD help me befor she hung up on me terrible customer service!!

I went in to get my dog dewormed and was told that to bring the dog in so they can take a sample and instead my dog got a check up $59.00 . Now I got to pay for deworming separate another $59.00. The doctor was nice but given the information behind the desk was bad every body like to get prices and no one likes to be misled. The older lady told me she was sorry for the wrong information, but the dark Mexican was nice until I asked to get a discount on the deworming since I was misinformed then I seen her true nastiness come out and then tell me she was the who gave me the correct information yes that is correct after the facted I already paid for the doctor visit that I didnt need. Dog Loves dont get misinformed just dont go here! I will spread the word of mouth to others at the dog parks. And let just clarify this, it has nothing to do with the $$. I just want to get what my dog needs and be healthy nothing else.

I called to get an estimate for a spay for our new 5-month old female kitten that has not gone into heat yet. I was told 489 DOLLARS and some cents. I couldnt believe it. Almost $500 for a surgery that is considered by most to be necessary, if not minor and routine? The lady I spoke to tried to justify it by saying that they would do blood work, have an IV, a round-the-clock tech to watch her, etc...which I could understand if they were doing, say, an organ transplant. But its a spay! Nothing else! I gave two stars instead of one because the lady was willing to work with me and contact a previous vets office to get bloodwork that Id already had done. Thats much appreciated. Its sad, because I had it on good authority that this place was a very good place to take my pet, and now it seems like its heading the direction of Old River and Jules - shut your mouth and open your wallet.

I was very nervous when I brought my dog in, to have her nails trimmed. I had tried 2 different places before and my dog was traumatized. I had taken her to a Veterinarian and a pet grooming business. Neither place was able to finish trimming her nails. I was told my dog was too nervous and they could not finish. When I brought her to your clinic, I was greeted by friendly staff, the technician who took my dog back, was very kind and understanding to my fear. When my dog was finished and returned to me, she was very happy and not a bit nervous. This has NEVER happened. Thank you for making my visit, as well as my dogs visit a pleasant one.

The entire staff was outstanding! I have a 16 week old pup that had a foxtail. The receptionists, veterinary tech and Dr Jim Matteson gave outstanding care to the pup, and explained (in detail) what likely happened and what to expect over the next period of time. Dr Matteson reviewed the alternatives and made a recommendation, which I accepted. .. start with antibiotics to see if that would help. With in 2 hours the swelling went down (almost to normal) and the puppy is doing very well!!

I have a foster dog that is petrified of the vet. After trying other offices in town, I was traumatized. Absolutely horrible experience. Then I went to my Dr. Matteson at Tracy Vet Clinic. He did everything right. He listened to me, read the dog, and finally got him the care he needed. Turns out, the lump I thought was a cyst, was a tumor. I am so thankful for them. The staff is amazing! GREAT experience. I will always go back to them.

My dog loves going to Tracy Veterinary Clinic! The staff is great. They always treat him as if he were thiers. He has never been sick but has had vaccinations, heartworm testing and annual examinations by Dr. Matteson. He does have to have yearly dental cleanings becuase of heavy tarter formation, but at 12 years old he stil has all his teeth. Thankyou Tracy Veterinary Clinic staff for you kindness and care.

My fearful, previously abused dog often has a very hard time at the vet. However, the staff at Tracy Veterinary Clinic is great with him. The doctors are awesome and care about your pet.
