Who would have thought I would be introduced to Dr. Scott by going to the Camarillo Chili Cook-Off? Long story. Anyway, my friend signed up and convinced me to go in for the discounted x-ray/initial evaluation visit. I didnt even realize I needed chiropractic care, but the x-rays clearly showed my neck lacked the ideal curve, and was straightening out. Definitely not a good thing. Come to think of it, I said, it is uncomfortable to look over my shoulder when changing lanes. Hmmm, my neck wasnt always that consistently stiff, it just became that way after buying a new car with crazily angled forward head rests earlier that year. So Dr. Scott taught me rule #1: be aware of your posture when standing, sitting, walking, washing dishes, lying in bed, etc., because this directly feeds into how your body feels. Having this awareness helped me make important changes at my work station, retrofit my car seat with better back support, and realize it was time for a new mattress. His "introduction to chiropractic care" education session also really helped me understand what this mysterious branch of medicine was all about. Dr. Scott proposed a realignment plan involving adjustments and traction each visit, and daily stretches on my own. He was basically retraining my skeleton and my muscles to automatically recognize the ideal posture. It became apparent that my whole system functions better with proper alignment - I dont catch flu or cold even when everyone at the office is hacking away, my digestive system is happier, I can now make safer lane changes, and the list goes on. If something is amiss, its time for a tune-up with Dr. Scott. Let me tell you, I was definitely worried about the cracking that comes with adjustments. Dr. Scott took the time to explain his approach, and in no time it was clear that he knows exactly what he is doing. Now I look forward to my next adjustment since it helps work out any kinks that might develop between monthly visits, which are always a breeze to schedule with Krista at the front desk. X-rays are taken at your initial consultation, and again after you have received treatment for a while - actual data that help track change! Dr. Scott displays both on the light machine and discusses with you in detail the progress your spine has made, and whether additional improvement is necessary or not. I told him I wished my husband had been present to see and hear for himself all the very useful info, and Dr. Scott said no problem, Ill run through it again while you record with your smartphone video camera. How handy is that? So many folks have commented positively on my posture since I started going to Advanced Chiropractic Rehab. I owe it all to Dr. Scott!

I met Dr. Scott at a street fair in Simi Valley in May 2008. I had been suffering with chronic back pain for twenty year. The past fifteen years I was on a lot of pain medicine and muscle relaxers. I not only had back problems but other health problems. It started with back pain then I would have pain down my legs, my feet would hurt at times so bad I could hardly walk. There were windows of time where I would get a little relief and think I was on a better road, but I was wrong. As time went on my hands started to go numb and I was getting headaches. My eyesight was getting worse and I would fall down all the time . I got very little sleep . My medical doctors said that there was nothing they could do except give me the medicine I was on. They were not concerned with the straight neck my x-rays showed I had and didnt think I should be seeing a chiropractor. I wasnt sure either about seeing another chiropractor because Dr. Scott is the fourth chiropractor I have seen in the twenty years and two of the other ones were not very good ! After treating with Dr. Scott for 9 months all my pain was gone. It has been 9 months that I am pain free now. Along with being pain free I have had other wonderful health benefits from this treatment. I rarely get sick with colds now. My headaches are gone and my sight has improved. I have no more numb limbs and my feet dont hurt. I dont fall down anymore! ~ That is so good!!!! My appetite has changed and I now get full when I eat, I was always hungry before. I have lost twenty pound and have kept it off without trying. One of the best things is the IBS is gone....Oh and I sleep like a baby now. I now feel free in my body and not trapped in the pain . I have tried so many other treatments and Dr. Scott was my last hope. When I started with him I gave it my all and it has paid off. I worked so hard with him and he said he could get me back to feeling like a teenager again and he did what he said. I am truly blessed and grateful to work with such a wonderful doctor who understand the body totally! It all works together like he says , I am living proof. The healing my body has gone through is amazing. Dr. Scott is the best of the best... Thank You so much, Dr. Scott !!!

Allison Minor

My name is Allison and I got a concussion at work about a year ago and since then Ive been having a lot of neck problems, a massive muscle spasm in my neck, my shoulders, the pain went all the way down my back, into my arms, my hands went numb and they were tingling constantly. I was seeing dots in my vision, sometimes little floating things. My hearing would go out randomly or I would hear ringing in my ears. Medical doctors put me on a lot of different medications, seizure medication, depression medication, epileptic medication, I was put on Topamax, Fioricet, Flexeril, Ambien, Zithromax, Pamelor, Vicodin, Zofran, Neurontin and Norco. I wasnt sleeping, I was having a hard time concentrating and I would forget things all the time. I didnt know what to do anymore, then my sister told me to try chiropractic and referred me to Dr. Scott and by my third visit I was able to move my head with full range of motion, I no longer have muscle spasms in my upper torso and neck, I couldnt believe it, what Dr. Scott did in 3 visits was amazing! Dr. Scott found that I had some vertebra misaligned in my neck and upper back and told me that he was going to adjust them back into position, after doing so, I am now completely off of all the medication that the medical doctors put on. To think that all I needed were some adjustments to get pressure off of my nerves instead of medication. I now feel like a whole new person so thank you Dr. Scott very much for helping me get my life and my health back! Gratefully, Allison Minor

Dr. Scott has healing hands! I met Dr. Scott 7 years ago when I moved to California. Prior to moving to California, I had been in a bad car accident & was receiving epiderals in my lower back every 1-3 months. After seeing Dr. Scott for less than 3 months, I was no longer receiving the epideral injections! Now at almost 8 months pregnant, my back was out of alignment and I had severe sciatic pain. Being that the new injury occurred over the weekend, I went to the ER & the doctors wanted to give me medication that would have been harmful to my unborn son & wanted to take me off work for the next 2 months till my son was born. The doctors stated they couldnt do anything for me. The following business day I contacted Dr. Scotts office & they were able to fit me in immediately! After one visit with Dr. Scott, I could again stand up, and move without constant severe pain! Dr. Scott has healing hands! He has a wonderful gift of being able to heal others through the hands God has given him. I have never been to a chiropractor that has been able to work such wonderful miracles! Anyone with severe back pain that gets relief knows what a miracle being pain free can be! I would recommend & have recommended Dr. Scott to anyone & everyone! He loves what he does, and he loves to see people get relief! He is all around a wonderful person!
