There are so many wonderful things to say about Dr. Van and this office. 1) NO WAIT! I have been to the office 6 times and never had to wait a single time! Not in the waiting room to get to a room, not for the doctor once Im in the room. 2) Insurance was super easy. Everything is fast, short sweet - totally excellent. 3) The office staff are cute and friendly. Always smiling and pleasant. Lots of fun! I kinda feel like a visit with my friends is happening. 4) They remind you of your appointment time via text or call, whatever is convenient for you. 5) Dr. Van - he deserves a chapter, but I will condense - hes professional, clearly very smart, helps you see the results you are looking for by listening and addressing your concerns. Every time I go, I get stretching, stimulation, heat and adjusted. I leave feeling better, and after 2 weeks Im feeling fantastic. He is friendly and funny, but not a time waster - we all have things to do, he respects that. A guy I wouldnt mind being friends with! 6) Massage - Lindsey Overly - Im hoping to high heaven that my insurance also covers her therapeutic massage. Shes the best in the business if you have real muscle concerns. Just like Goldilocks - not too soft, not too hard, just right pressure all the time. Shell give you silence or keep up conversation. Your choice. I feel like I want to be her new bf. 7) He does a 2 week intensive routine, 3x each week - It enabled me to see and feel real results. At first I was a little skeptical, but was willing to go with it because my co-pay is low. Absolutely the right approach because I see the results within 2 weeks - less pain, more range of motion, better posture. WOW! If I ever doubted chiropractic medicine, they are gone now. 8) Easy parking - they validate an hour which is longer than you need. 9) Office space - Always the right temperature. Thank goodness. Clean, modern, comforting doctors office decor. Good ambiance for each room - the right style is used for the appropriate settings, and yes there are a lot of things put into a small space but it doesnt feel cluttered or cramped. Did I miss anything? Is there any other way I can rave over this place? Let me know!

Embed review Edit review 5.0 star rating 8/3/2016 I recently had a car hit my Prius head on trying to turn left in front of me totaling my car and almost me. I had the classic whiplash with both neck and back pain along with several other injuries, no broken bones, but at age 80 it was pretty jarring. I have been to another Chiropractor closer to where I live arranged by my Attorney. He was OK, but not what I felt were satisfactory adjustments and I have continued neck and back pain. I recently discovered that I have coverage for Chiropractic treatments with my Kaiser Insurance, so I decided to make an appointment with Dr Van , who I have known personally and both my daughter and son-in-law have been his satisfied patients. Not only is he a very nice person, but I am very impressed with Dr Vans professional skills and attention to detail. I believe I am a very experienced critic, due to being an RN and the daughter of a Chiropractor, who showed the same attention to detail as Dr Van. Dr Van applies hot packs to relax your back prior to the adjustment and a performs a skillful adjustment with very satisfactory results. I have been an Operating Room RN for over 50 years, many years spent in Neuro-Surgery, wishing I could tell the patients not to have surgery. An excellent Chiropractor, as Dr Van, repeatedly manipulates the spine allowing the disc to slip back into place, relieving the pressure on the nerves, as the stretched muscles and ligaments heal. Laminectomies / Discectomies remove some of your muscle, ligaments and bone that protects your spinal column in order for the Surgeon to reach the protruding disc, only removing the small portion that protrudes. Your spine is no longer protected by the muscles, ligaments and bone leading to "Redo Laminectomies", to remove more of the protruding disc. Fortunately fewer Laminectomies are performed today as in the past. MDs have discovered that the surgery does not cure the problem, ----but they do not know how to manipulate the spine, so you are given pain pills, PT or eventually a fusion of your spine. Thank goodness we have access to an excellent Doctor of Chiropractic as Dr Van.

I awoke one morning with a sore neck. After a couple of weeks the sore neck showed no sign of working itself out, so this 67-year old wondered if it was time to try chiropractory. Computer savvy, I searched chiropractor woodland hills. One result immediately appealed to me, an Introductory Offer for a consultation and one CMT massage at half price. The last few years I had enjoyed getting massages at the abundance of Asian massage parlors that seem to be on every corner these days, but never had a massage by a Certified Massage Therapist. I signed up for the Introductory Offer. CMT masseuse skills soon became apparent as she worked hard on my narly neck and shoulder area. Delusions of such massage might be all that I needed did not prove true, but, massage as a prelude to a session with the doctor seemed to be a natural. Dr. Van listened carefully to my description of the history of the problem and responded with an understandable description of the area with props and posters. I laid facedown on the table as he analyzed neck area and my necks state of mobility. Dr. Van has a very calm aura about him. He described the plan for my situation which would include his adjustments and exercises for me to do between sessions. Since Dr. Vans sessions are covered by Medicare, I decided to continue. The massages are not covered by Medicare, but it seemed obvious to me that a CMT session prior to a session with Dr. Van would help make Dr. Vans adjustments a little easier for me to handle the pain. They have a 5 month Wellness package reduces the massage price by 30%, so, I joined. It has been three weeks now and I feel the improvement and I am optimistic about relieving my sore neck and getting full mobility back.

OMG! Dr.Van literally saved my life! I had vertigo for over 2 whole weeks, I went to 3 different doctors and they did not take the next step to make their patient (ME) get any better! It was so uncomfortable to do anything, I was handicapped. Then I went to Dr. Van, I felt and saw a difference after the first visit. The dizziness was slowly getting better. Who would have thought going to a chiropractor will treat vertigo? I wouldnt have thought twice about it! After the third and fourth visit, the dizziness was gone! I cant thank him enough! He was so knowledgeable about vertigo and knew exactly what to do. I am so thankful for him! GO TO DR. VAN, you will be very happy! I recommend all my family and friends to go to him! Thank you Dr. Van!! :)

Where do I begin?? This review is long overdue! I have been going to Dr. Van since he opened his practice. Ive had back issues since my car accident is 2004 and every so often it still bothers me. I enjoy going to Dr. Van for adjustments and basic maintenance, I always feel 100% better when I walk out of his office (I also wonder why I didnt visit him sooner instead of suffering in pain) He has great bedside manners and makes you feel like you are his only patient. He takes the time to listen to you and never makes you feel rushed. He focuses on your problem areas and is so caring. I have been to other chiropractors but no one as awesome as Dr. Van! I would highly recommend Dr. Van to everyone looking for an awesome Chiropractor!
