I have been going to Cooper for 2 years now. I find him to be a better than average Dr. I also find his bed-side manner to be better than most Drs I have ever been to. I dont see him as rushed or incomplete. In fact, he is the exact opposite. For those of you complaining about him, I just dont get it. Then again, I would never bring kids to a Drs appointment unless those kids had an appointment. If you think their rules about children are inappropriate, I would take a closer look at yourself and what you are complaining about. This is a Drs office after all, not a day care. Another thing to remember, the Dr, is going to behave based on how he/she is being engaged. So you have some control over the situation. Now the office staff is another story - and I am referring to the clerical help. I have never been content with how they behave. Whenever I go for an appointment, I find the clerical help to be your typical gum smackin, dont give a darn variety. They are rude, condescending, and could not act like they cared any less. The two in particular are the receptionist with the long blond hair and the lady that has dark hair that collects the money. The two of them certainly are not the type that should be customer facing. I am a professional and I come from a medical family. The Drs in my family would not allow their patients to be treated so poorly by their staff. I see that others have complained about the same issues with the staff. Hey Drs, in the current economy there are so many people available to do the medical receptionists position, you no longer need to put up with sub-par employees. Just a thought.

I have taken both my children to Lynn Eye and found that their staff as well as the doctors are awesome. Every time I go everyone is nice and helpful and Dr. Cooper always takes the time to answer all my questions.. After sitting in the waiting and listening to some of the rude patients they get at their office is unreal.. Patients blame the girls at the front desk when THEY THEMSELVES as patients dont bring their insurance cards in with them.. Seriously people do you go to the grocery with no credit card?? Dr. Cooper and his staff are good people.. I hope that people remember there are 2 sides to every story!! Keep up the good work Lynn Eye!! I will keep talking highly about you guys and my good expriences there!!

After trying to watch the eclipse without any protective eye glasses for a few minutes, I felt eye pain. I felt my vision has degraded. I called Lynn Eye Medical this morning. I told the receptionist that I will be leaving for Chicago tomorrow. I need to see an ophthalmologist. The receptionist was able to get an appointment within 1 hour. I really appreciate your helpfulness and understanding. They did a very thorough examination of my eyes including peripheral vision, retina and vision. I really appreciate them squeezing me in . There were no openings today , their office was very busy but they went of their way to give me an urgent appointment. Thanks to Dr. Hymas and his staff for their help.

I dropped off my prescription after my eye exam on August 1, 2011 they said it would be ready in a week. I went back a week later and they scratched my new Oakley Frame and the lens was not the correct size. They said it will be ready a week later. I call them back and it wasn’t ready. I call back again on 8-19-11 and they said it will be there on 8-25-11. I called back again on 8-31-11 and it still wasn’t ready. It is taking them more than 30 days to add a new lens to my frame. Horrible customer service!

The staff hates children. They shouldnt be allowed to treat children at all. NO ONE there likes their job and are rude and nasty to everyone. And dont both complaining to the office manager she "Frankly couldnt care less" about the patients. I had to file a complaint with the Medical Board. Dr. Cooper needs to shape up or ship out. We need another pediatric ophthalmologist in this area! Trust me parents its worth the drive to find someone better equipped to handle children.

My daughter has been going here since she was 5 and the office staff has always been professional and very kind. I like the fact they have a waiting room for kids were she can watch kid movies. Dr. Copper is great and I would highly recommend this medical group.

Superb and excellent cataract surgery by Dr. Hymas. He leads the way and is most kind, skilled and efficient. I do not review the staff as not key to my requirements.
