I would never recommend this to place to anyone who values their time and respect. They did not clearly communicate expectations to me during my visit and were unprofessional and combative when I brought this to their attention. This is not what I expect from a professional. Context: I had an appointment for 2:30 for a first time cleaning. We had to switch from our old family dentist due to issues with our insurance. I scheduled the appointment 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived, they had me fill out about 5 minutes of paper work. As I was finishing another patient came in who also had 2:30 appointment. I was then seated in a dental chair and waited as they brought in the other patient and proceeded to start x-rays and cleaning his death. It seems they double booked. I then sat there for 40 minutes waiting for someone to clean my teeth. After 40 minutes, it seemed that they were not going to clean my teeth until they had finished with the other patient. I was disappointed that they would schedule 2 people at the same time and only have one dental hygienist available. To be clear, no one said anything to me as to why I was waiting. I just sat there. So I left because I did not get the impression that my time was not respected. I am understanding of emergencies or necessary delays when they are clearly communicated. However, I received no information as I sat there and waited. When I inquired later about why I had to wait so long later on the phone, I was told it was because they had to verify the insurance and it was a common practice to have to wait 45 minutes for insurance authorization. That is why they claim they booked 2 people at the same time with 1 dental hygienist and bumped me. I asked if it takes that long, why it wasnt something that was verified when I made the appointment to avoid having me unnecessarily wait? The paper work could have been handled in advance over the phone when I made the appointment so I wouldnt have to wait for 45 minutes. As I was asking the question, I was interrupted and told that it is because they dont do it in advance in case the patient doesnt show to avoid unnecessary paper work. The dentist then insinuated that it was my fault for not being privy to the common practice of waiting for 45 minutes on your 1st appointment when scheduling my day. That being said, if they had clearly communicated to me when I arrived that it would take 45 minutes for the insurance paper work to be processed, I would have been understanding and could have ran an errand nearby while I waited. Instead they kept me waiting as I wondered why another patient who came after me was being seen 1st. What made it worse is they insisted the issue was me when I brought this up. Their lack of consideration for their patient and unwillingness to acknowledge it is why I wrote this review, so that others can avoid feeling the way I did today.

The doctor rushed, they start off by taking ex rays the doctor mainly just looked at them to determine if you have cavities. Barely even glancing at your actual in mouth teeth. The exrays are not even your whole tooth only half. Oh and by the way she books up to 3 patients at once for the same time I was at 2, 2 more people walked in after me and they said they were there for a 2:00 appointment. I thought it was a mistake. But no, she has her 3 dental assistance do most the work. And they all depressingly really dont want to be there. I say that because they dont care enough to hide it. Also when the doctor Shaw she calls her self. Doesnt really see you as a human just an appointment she wants to get over with so she can just bill the insurance. So when she stabs my gums with a sharp object the dental assistant didnt do a good job with the hose or the dr. Wasnt letting her get the right side of my mouth so I drooled all over the right side of my check down my neck and in my hair. She doesnt even introduce her self, or talks, I had to introduce myself before she even motioned her name She didnt even give me time to ask questions or tell her what I wanted done. Dont let this woman near your mouth do some research and find a good dentist who actually cares, and wants to make a difference. Dont settle for cheap and fast. Or youre going to hate the dentist forever and thats not good. Your teeth are important. There are good dentist out there. Dr. Shaw is not one of them

Dr. Shital Shah is just wonderful!!! This is a no frills office. She is very professional, calm and focused; to top it all genuinely friendly. I just walked in to her office and they accommodated me right away. She spent significant amount of time with my mom and myself and is a dentist that treats you like an individual. Both her dental work and care are excellent and her attention to detail is truly beyond compare. She is a dentist with the highest of ethics and not misguide you or push for any unnecessary treatment to make money. She is also a rare dentist in that she offers various discounts and since I dont have insurance, it really helps a lot. Her staff is also very courteous and knowledgeable. I just dont have anything except for good words and wishes for her.

Best Dental Experience So Far. My other dentist, that I thought was also very good never checked my mouth the way Dr. Shah did. I was treated very kindly and they also are very informative regarding insurance coverage so that you are aware how much the treatment will cost before they do anything and they are very fast. Very good staff. I Highly recommend if anyone needs a dentist and if you have dental anxiety, this would be the place to go where they will take all that into consideration.
