Do not go to this Doctor! You have been warned! ...unless you want to be treated like cattle. 2 hour or longer lobby wait for all patients, no exceptions! You must be on time and wait or the staff wont let you see the doctor. 15 min max visit with Doctor, & good luck if you run out of medicine, Dr wont return calls and when the Pharmacy calls they even send them to voice mail. His nurse hung up on me 4 times. She was rude. I was told I could not see my own medical records, which made me suspicious. I suffer CHRONIC PAIN and the DR refused to authorize my medication even though it was almost 2 weeks over due, he let me suffer without medication. Never got a clear explanation for that. I asked to be referred to Pain Management which he was against. Two years later he finally submitted & he didnt file the forms correctly, again I waited a year and a half more, still no approval. He complained it was my insurance that was the problem. So I changed Doctors (same insurance) and in one month my new primary doctor was able to send me to Pain Management where this Doctor had me get an MRI which showed that Ive been suffering from a slipped disc and pinched nerve. Suffering for over twelve years, given minor treatment from Dr Gelfand, such as all the latest medications for Fibromyalgia, yet he never gave me tests to properly diagnosis me.

Dr Gilbert F. Gelfand is an awesome RA doctor I have been seeing him for over 10 yrs for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. He is such a great doctor has help me with my RA before going to him I was in so much pain and not able to move around being with him he has help me to find medicine to help me with my RA and for my pain plus every month I recived a infusion for it to.Now I can walk around and enjoy being with my family especially my grand kid. There is no curd and so I have learn to live with it till the day I go to my Lord.So Blessed to have him as my RA doctor. Thank You Dr. Gilbert Gelfand and God Bless.
