I solidly recommend Dr. Grabiak as an excellent dentist who is extremely skilled at restorative work and bite issues. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, thorough, and a perfectionist. He is very easy to work with, as are his assistants and staff. The office decor is top-notch and presents a comfortable setting. I’ve seen a number of dentists over the years, ranging from one-tooth dentists (who don’t address the overall bite) to very good. I would consider Dr. Grabiak to be at the very top of the list – a great dentist. Here’s why: I had developed sleep apnea, where the airway closes off during sleep. I got a custom dental appliance (like a football mouth guard) to hold the jaw forward at night, keeping the airway open. After a year or two it permanently changed my TMJ – I was hitting on only my front teeth, which wasn’t very much fun. I was referred to an excellent orthodontist (Dr. Beaber) who put me in braces to fix the problem. Along the way I had some additional oral surgery. However, because of my age (I’m several times older than most kids in braces) the bite still was not perfect - not hitting on all teeth. In addition, quite a few old crowns were due to be replaced. I needed to make a decision: whether to replace crowns piecemeal over time or to do everything at once and not have to worry about it again for twenty years. I knew that if I took an incremental approach, my bite would be off for years, and that even after the work was completed, the final bite would not be as good as if everything were done at once. Because of the magnitude of the overall work as well as the possible expense, I did a lot of research. I discussed treatment plans with my orthodontist, surgeon, and my previous dentist, who I thought was very good. I discussed treatment options with two additional dentists who were highly recommended. One was Dr. Grabiak. I was impressed with Dr. Grabiak during the initial interviews and I continue to be impressed with him. He did what amounted to a full mouth restoration. He replaced old crowns, paying particular attention to both bite (via equilibration) and cosmetics. After the work was completed, I had a follow-up visit to an excellent endodontist who had done a root canal a year earlier. He said that Dr. Grabiak had done a really good job. My orthodontist reviewed the work. He was very impressed – particularly with cosmetics - and commented that Dr. Grabiak is really talented. Dr. Grabiak charged me a reasonable amount for the work. If anything, he undercharged me: he took additional steps to ensure that the new crowns were perfect, which resulted in additional lab work that he did not charge me for. I know Dr. Grabiak did an excellent job. The bite is perfect. And I have a great smile! I consider myself extremely fortunate to have been referred to such a great dentist.

I want to leave a character review for Dr. Guy Grabiak along with a review regarding the quality of his work. It is only fair to tell you up front that I have worked for Dr. Grabiak for the last 10 months and he did not pay me or compensate me in any way to leave this review it is solely to put you at ease in your choice of a dentist. When you work with someone you can truly tell their character. I am sad to be leaving-however I am moving to San Diego. So here are the facts from the inside. As far as cosmetic dentists within the Denver area he is one of the absolute best as you will see from the reviews. He is probably the most educated man Ive ever met and he values knowledge and being on the cutting edge of the competitive dental world. He is constantly attending continuing education courses and sharpening his skills. You are in great hands when you choose him as your dentist. He is a kind and sincere man that Ive grown to respect for many reasons beyond his dental expertise. When I first came to Dr. Grabiak I had some dental work that needed to be done, but I was worried about the pain. I came from a rough background with dentists because alot overcharge and then on top of that I always felt the needle go in....every time. Not with this Doctor ladies and gentlemen! Rest assured that he will take his time and do an extensive exam and only fix the issues that are urgent and necessary. AND you wont feel pain when the needle goes in or during the work hes doing. :) He is seriously an amazing dentist that I have and will continue to recommend to all of my family and friends. As far as his character-he is a stellar Guy! He has been a great boss and Ive enjoyed being a part of his team. As his bookkeeper Ive had a look on the inside too and EVERYTHING is completely above board and he is operating his business with purpose and integrity. He is current with all vendors and is fair with his patient charges and I think that says alot about his values. He is a quality dentist that does excellent work on anything ranging from minor to major dental work, veneers, implants, biteguards, and anything related to sleep apnea. He comes highly recommended by me and I completely trust him. I dont have a fear of dentists now. Thanks Dr. Grabiak I feel blessed to have worked with you and if I wasnt moving I would stay with you for a long time. You wont regret choosing Dr. Guy Grabiak for your dental needs-Ive only seen happy patients leave his office since being with him! PS- The staff rocks too!!!

Yet another update April 2017- not sure how this place keep getting better...and we are talking about dentistry, but it does! Angela has just kicked it up to the next level. On my last visit, she recommended a water pik. Serious game changer. I LOVE THIS DEVICE and wonder how I never knew that I needed it and what a difference it makes in my ongoing care. I also learned how to properly floss so that I dont have permanent and gum damaging grooves. Patient education is another reason this dental practice is my jam! Update 2016- I just love coming here. I just experienced Angela Quintana as my new hygienist. Fastest pocket check ever and full of knowledge! This dental practice is by far the finest I have ever experienced. Period. All patient touch points are warm, friendly, and most importantly informative. Knowledge is power especially in a situation that most people fear- the trip to the dentist. My first visit began with meeting Dr. Grabiak. Typically you dont get to meet your dentist until after you are in the treatment room. We talked about my issues and developed a plan together. Shawna, Dr. Grabiaks Dental Assistant, is a doll and carefully explains everything that is happening in a clear and concise and friendly way. She has been at this for over 20 years and her expertise shines through. Julie, the hygienist, is equally lovely and gave me a lesson in proper flossing technique. I thought I had this down for over 40 years twice a day. Turns out I didnt. Dr. Grabiak also documents things with real photos as well, so you can track any visual changes. This is my first experience with a dentist caring enough to show proof. I also learned, much to my surprise with visuals, that my prior dental care was not the best as I learned and saw how just patching a problem doesnt address it for the future. My second visit was 3 hours with filling work and a crown repair. I WAS NEVER UNCOMFORTABLE- NO PAIN AND NO FEAR. Dr. Grabiak was so gentle as was Shawna. I am referring my closest friends. If you are in need of a dentist and not sure if this is the right place for you, IT IS! It takes a lot to make me a raving fan, but I am. P.S. Dr. Grabiak grew up in Pittsburgh, so if you are from the "Burgh"...well enough said.
