Do not be afraid of a root canal!! :) I was referred to this practice by my boss, who was already a patient of Standley Shores. I read google reviews and I decided to go with either Dr. Jeranko or Dr. Stang based on what I read here. I started with toothache and, instead of going to the dentist I saw for my cleaning (I went to this practice in Boulder just one time after moving to CO), I didnt feel so confident they would do a great job identifying what I had, so I decided to switch dentists. I was confident that either Dr. Jeranko or Dr. Stang would take good care of me based on the reviews. I waited one extra day to be seen by Dr. Jeranko, bearing the pain, but happy to do it so I could have a good job (I hoped) done on my tooth. I feel that a good dentist makes all the difference in the world, so I was willing to wait. He did the diagnosis and was precise on the details. I needed a root canal because of biting issues, even though my teeth - he said - look great and are very well taken care of. I was chocked to realize I needed a root canal (I was always so afraid of ever having to have one), but he put me at ease and said it would be easy and nothing more painful than what I was already experiencing. When he compared it to a filling, I said: alright, I can do this! :) And so the next day I came back and he did a phenomenal job, with his assistant. I didnt feel any pain and I was even watching a movie while they were working on my teeth! Not a walk in the park, I would say, but no pain! It depends on how strong you are too. Haha He was phenomenal, and was making sure I was comfortable during the procedure. His assistant was also great! He said it was the right timing to go see him, because my dental nerve was already dead and started to get infected because of grinding teeth, so the next few days things would get pretty bad if I hadnt gone to the RIGHT dentist (the "right" dentist part I am adding)! I had the procedure done this morning and he personally called the same day in the evening asking if I was doing ok. I have not much pain and Im not taking pain meds! Its not enough so far to even take anti inflammatory. And the anesthetic already wore off. I am taking, of course, the antibiotics he prescribed. Im super happy with the work he did and I will go back tomorrow for a bite analysis. I need to fix the cause of the problem, which should have been fixed many years ago by other dentists that saw me over the years, but missed it!! Agh!! Better late than never, Im happy I found Dr. Jaranko! Everyone in the practice has been really great, from the front desk, to dentist assistants, to the ladies that schedule follow up appointments and handle the payments. Great job, guys! Keep it up!

I came to Standley Shores just to get my routine cleaning and am so grateful to have become one of Dr. Stangs patients. He identified some gum recession that has led to bone loss, which needed to be stopped as soon as possible so as not to potentially lose a couple of teeth in the future. He explained what he suggested doing, along with also referring me to a periodontist. I decided to go with his suggestion of a mouth guard, which I was dreading wearing, but because of the care and attention from his assistant, Chris, to making sure it fits properly, I have adjusted extremely quickly and actually love wearing it. Can you believe it? Chris patiently spent almost an hour making sure that it was comfortable while also being snug enough to do what its supposed to. (Unlike many dentists who simply hand you your mouth guard and say, "Good luck") I also mention my hygienist, Donna and another of Dr. Stangs assistants, Laurie. Both are very skilled and attentive to detail and know what they are doing. I also had a cavity filled and Dr. Stang put me very much at ease and did a great job on that. Everyone you will encounter in this dental group is focused on your care, your appointments, your comfort, and listening to your questions and answering them. Because I wanted my husband to also understand what was going on since there was potential gum grafting surgery involved, I brought him in and Dr. Stang took quite a bit of time re-explaining my situation to him and answering his questions. After meeting with Dr. Sakkaris, the periodontist he referred me to, I decided to have the surgery a couple of weeks ago and and am glad I did. Dr. Sakkaris and Dr. Stang have taken a "team" approach to my gum problem and I feel very comfortable in their care. Dr. Stang is a dentist I trust, with alot of expertise and experience and is extremely attentive to detail. He will give you the big picture and options for treatment, but never once did I feel "pushed" to do anything--only given suggestions and information and knowledge that he and his staff would be there to help me in any way they could. And they have. I cant recommend this Dental Group highly enough and in particular, Dr. Stang and his staff.

I have been see the dentist Dr. berroni since 2016. I lost my Dad towards the end of October 2015. On 1/1/17 a crown fell off and Chris the dental hygienist was able to temporarily cement it in until I could get back in. Well a lot was going on with putting my Dads house on market and working a temp job without insurance, although I had care credit with a credit balance up to 7k. I also had Cobra UHC insurance, prior to having a full time job with benefits. Unfortunately, it was a seasonal job and I had to quit to go thru probate and get rid of my parents stuff since 1979 and box up my stuff because I was going to buy a condo in Brookfield. Sorry, now to get to the point I needed a lot of dental work done like 3 crowns, two fillings, more deep cleaning etc... The end of March 2017, this crown fell off again and Chris was able to help me out again. I also request to schedule to start this project of working on my teeth, but they lied to me and told me they would put a note on this doctors chair and she would call me. Nothing in 4 days, not even an email. Okay, so I call again two weeks ago to see if they could schedule me. I have the money, insurance etc okay? The receptionist says they need to talk to office manager. Im like what the heck did I do wrong? I cant help that I had to put this work off. I had to get out of my Dads house by 2/10 because I was paying back rent of $1,500 to the guy. I had no help. Today I get a certified letter in mail telling me they dont want a relationship with me anymore and to go somewhere else. This is absurd and very nasty stuck up way to treat people like me. Well, I was going to stop seeing them anyway. My advise is do not even go to these people if you need a lot of dental work done and your lower class citizen. It is very discriminating. Thank you Chris for helping me. They will ignore you and put you on their bad list. Bye now.
