The office at Coal Mine Ave. has a new "student" nurse who dresses very unprofessionally! I love Dr. B, but this is the second thing about the office that has really gotten under my skin. (see my review of Dec 7, 2008). The last two times I have been in (today being the most recent) there has been a very nice, but very UNPROFESSIONALLY dressed young woman who appears to be a student nurse. The other nurses are with her, and they double check her work, which is fine with me. HOWEVER, her outfit today was over the top! Tight, spandex-like black leggings with a a jean "skirt" (I use that term loosely since it BARELY covered her behind!) over them. Boots and a very tight t-shirt that is meant for a rock concert, not a doctors office. The doctors lack of concern for the appearance of their staff is seriously in question in my mind if this type of dress is allowed. I hate to change practices, but I think this seals it for me.

Dr. Eric Shaw is the best. He helped save our daughters life when she swallowed a button battery. He has saved us tremendous amounts of money on prescriptions and choosing only to do testing when necessary. He also helped us realize she had allergies, which our other ped office never noticed for years. Our other office treated us with haste and we never saw the same Doctor. I highly recommend! Every time Ive been there everyone has been very professional and kind, but mainly, and most importantly, the medical care is top notch. As for the review about the dress, Ive never noticed anything like that, and students arent always a reflection of the practice. I find it shameful to post a google review on the business when it had no pertinent information as to how their "business" was ran... Im also not super concerned with how people dress but how my daughter is cared for.

Dr. Shaw is great! We have been with him since my son was born. The staff is very nice and the office is clean. We have literally Never waited. We usually stay after our appointment to play in the waiting room and watch the beautiful saltwater fish tank because we dont have time before. Dr. Shaw is patient and takes time to address all of our concerns and I trust him with my sons care and life!

I am the main doctor at this location. In response to the post regarding unprofessional dress. Dr. Brazelton no longer works for our group. Our staff follows a specific and professional dress code. I am sorry this family had a bad experience, but I can say, our staff always tries to keep a family friendly and appropriate environment for our familys.
