Let me start by saying the doctors at this practice are great, Dr. Barbe has been the doctor for our 4 boys for over 4 years!! He suggested we see a neurologist when our oldest was having developmental delays - which no one had ever told us before! He is an amazing person and doctor! However, last week my wife was 1 minute late (literally less than 60 seconds) for an appointment and was promptly told that she would have to reschedule! There was absolutely no consideration for the winter weather conditions that my wife drove almost 40 minutes through from Thornton to get there. The Denver Metro area forecast for the day was for cold temps and snow, but when my wife pleaded for an extra minute because of the blowing snow and the slow traffic, Jessica, the office manager, couldnt have cared less, looked out the window---to no snow coming down--and basically said its not my problem, you should have left earlier. Thanks for the suggestion!!! It wasnt snowing in Thornton when she left and wasnt planning on a blizzard on the way there, but that is what happened! Indian Crest has a 10 minute grace period, but dont ask for 11 minutes, because they wont budge! Jessica made my wife feel like a fool, when she looked out the window and noticed it wasnt snowing. Was my wife lying about the weather conditions or did Jessica just simply not care??? I can understand having a "late policy" in place so that people dont take advantage of the situation and show up a half hour late for an appointment on a nice and sunny day, but neither of those things were the case that day. When I called to talk with Jessica, the office manager, about why she didnt care to give an extra minute to my wife when the weather outside was, at least, bad enough to offer a minute, she said "it was policy" and "it was a judgment call" not to offer an extra minute. We were not asking for 30 mins, nor even 5 minutes! We have made "a judgment call" to leave Indian Crest Pediatrics, not because of the doctors, but because of the front office. If you want great doctors and dont mind dealing with heartless robots who dont care about your situation and will not give you 60 seconds in bad weather then this is the place for you.

We have been going here for almost 10 years. Every time we do take our child in we get treated like strangers. Today, was the last straw. My child is sick and we have used our insurance there before. Today it was different our state insurance is going out of business the first of the year. After filling out the paper work, again I took it up only to be treated like Im stupid by the front desk. Then after being talked down to by lady at the front her only concern was money. I said over 5 times I didnt care about the cost I just wanted my daughter to see the doctor. Finally, I just looked at my sick kid and told her we would go somewhere else. Then trying to cover her tracks the good old "sir Im not saying that" statement was used. Them what exactly are you saying? My daughter is sick standing next to me and this lady, best way to describe her was short and fat with a some growth on her eye ball was only concerned about money. I then told her I didnt like being talked down to or treated like Im stupid. I got that far and was rudely interrupted. By that time I was furious so upon leaving I gave her the she is #1 sign with my finger. We love Dr. Shah but after 10 years being treated like this we will not be back. The women up front are rude and it seems like this practice is now only about money. We have always paid them, money has never been an issue. But to be so cold to a person with a sick kid standing there I lost all respect. We have always based our insurance on this practice and was planning to do the same with the new one we choose the first of the year. Now, today we have another appointment with a new doctor because of the crappy service and treatment by the ladies up front.

The front staff is not friendly at all. I thought the first time we started going there that maybe she was just having a bad day, but every time my son has needed an appointment or has gone in for one she is consistently rude. I called to register my newborn a couple weeks ago and provided all his information along with insurance. They scheduled his 2 month apt at that time. Today I call because my 5wk old is congested (stuffy nose) and a temp. The same rude front desk worker answered and I provided her with my newborn sons information. She stated he wasnt a patient and wouldnt be considered one until his 2mt apt. She than proceeded to tell me that they cant give any medical advice because he isnt a patient BUT told me that his temperature wasnt high. I think it is ridiculous that my newborn has insurance and this is the clinic our other son goes to and my newborn cant be seen there until after his 2mt apt. Its funny how another clinic that has never seen him before has scheduled him an appointment and wants us to take him in today to be checked due to his symptoms. Doctors are great but what a struggle to deal with their front staff every time.

Doctors are Great, we would still be taking our 3 children there if it wasnt for the rude lady at the front desk. She has been rude to my wife many times on the phone and in person. On one occasion told my wife that I her husband had called in to cancel my sons appointment. Keep in mind during that time I didnt even know the name of much less the number the doctors office. My wife handles all that. Now my wife called in to see if she could take in our new born to be seen. She proceeds to tell my wife that the baby is fine and doesnt have a fever, my wife then asked her what a high temp is for a baby (this is our 3rd kid we know what high is) . She then tells my wife she cant give out medical advice lol even though she had just gave her medical advice saying "the baby is fine". Im sure this is the same rude fat lady that everyone on here has complained about. I suggest you get rid of her before you lose more patients.

This rating is only for the front desk. Otherwise, the nurses and doctors are wonderful. My daughter has been seen here since birth. She is now 2 and Im sad to say we are leaving this practice. Our preferred doctor was Dr. Shah, who is absolutely incredible. She has always been very caring, genuinely concerned, took her time with our daughter and very informative. I wish I could say the same for the front desk. They arent very friendly, they seemed rushed and frazzled and not very concerned with our time. The final straw for us, was when they didnt enter my daughters 2 year check-up appt into the system. So, even though I had rearranged my schedule weeks ago, for this appt., I was now expected to do it again because of their mistake. So, if you can handle the rudeness and total lack of regard for other peoples time, from the front desk, then this place is for you.
