Dont let the friendly staff and speed of making the glasses fool you. I just had glasses made for my daughter who is 25, so not a kid. The frames were reasonably priced at $270. The lenses are about $450 but they pretend to be giving you 40 percent off sale on the lenses. Why do I say pretend? Because the lenses are the cheapest, thinnest plastic I have ever experienced, and Ive had probably 20 to 30 pairs of glasses made for myself over the years in regular optical stores, not chains such as this. Even Costco doesnt use the plastic garbage they use. They dont use high index lenses as they should unless, as they just told me on the phone, you need a -6 prescription. Well, thats a bunch of BS. My prescription is +2.50 and my lenses are Zeiss and always high index.. Have you ever bought your child a pair of two dollar sun glasses? Thats what you are getting here for over $400. A total ripoff. You can feel the plastic of the lenses twist in the frame when you clean them. Stay away, far away.

If I could give negative stars I would. The worst customer service ever! We spent 2.5 hours in the store, it took more than 30 minutes for someone to talk to us, after we asked someone sitting at a desk if they could help us and she said "no, sorry" We would have walked out except for the desperate need for glasses. We were going to order 3 pairs, the up pricing was egregious, we ended up ordering one pair, went home and ordered the other two online with NO HASSLE, NO UP CHARGE, both new pairs together cost less than one pair in the store and we got THE SAME GLASSES!!! The only thing a retail store has to offer is customer service, lenscrafters does a TERRIBLE job at this, order online, its easier, way cheaper, better service, nicer staff and no hassle. Lens crafters is all hassle, all up charge, no customer service. We will only order on line in the future, never go to this retail shop again.

My optometrist was very kind, her assistant helped me with all my answers to my contact lenses. They recommended a new lens for me that I liked more than my previous one. My glasses were on sale because of a promotion they were running, and I got quality glasses. They were made correctly the first time in just an hour, and the staff that helped me fit them was very polite. I had a great experience here. When youre a good customer, you get good customer service. When you complain and yell at staff, well, you get what you give.

OMG - there are a bunch of inefficient staff members here. And rude. Also - have you heard their voice greeting? Hello - I am your general manager ... excuse me ... you are not MY general manager. Also - how about mentioning business hours instead of going on and on about what customers dont care for. Also - how can you not take calls between 12-1??

Very poor customer service. Overpriced and never delivered on the second half of my order(which was paid for in advance, mind you). Waste of money and time. Very disappointed would not recommend and will not return.

They have insufficient work force to address customers. Im talking where LensCrafters is located in Danbury Fair mall. If you are planning to visit make sure you have your evening spare

Lenses priced way more than anyone else. Extremely rude "manager" Christina actually hung up on me while arguing about price matching.
