I had an annual eye exam scheduled for last week. I was looking forward to getting the exam because I was on my last pair of contact lenses and needed a new supply. The day before the appointment I got an automated call to confirm the time. Unfortunately, it was not the correct time I had scedhuled it for. No big deal right? Well, I called the next morning to reschedule the appointment. The woman on the phone said I could not get a new appointment for about a month and a half out. What?? I said I have only a few days left of my last pair of contacts. I asked if they could get me an extra pair or two in the meantime to cover me. She said no.. my prescription was old and needed a new exam first. She said I should just try wearing my glasses if I had them. I said I had glasses but they are old, scratched and dont fit correctly. (I havent worn them in a long time). She said there was nothing she could do. Ok..... let me get this straight. I will not have any contact lenses in a few days. I told her I will not be able to see for a 6 weeks and is unacceptable. She said there was nothing they could do? This seems crazy.... I will not be able to drive or work. Is this how they treat their patients? There is no contingency policy? What if I just wore glasses. Suppose I lost them and was due for an annual exam? I guess they just say sorry... youll be blind as a bat for 6 weeks until we can get you in? Extremely poor customer service... zero care about the patient. I wound be going back. Thankfully, I was able to get into another doctors office in two days. I am happy with my new contact lenses and new glasses...and new doctor

The staff is very friendly, professional and welcoming. The doctor also is kind and makes you feel at ease. He does very thorough exams, more so than other eye doctors I have been to in the past. They have a great selection of frames and contact lenses. I have been a patient since November; I got my new pair of glasses and fitted for contacts. I am returning for my new set of contacts soon. I highly recommend Total Vision in North Haven for those several reasons; friendly staff, professional personable doctor, wide variety and they respect your time and schedule.

As always, Dr. Lefland and his staff made my routine visit last week an outstanding one. I had a very brief while I filled out paperwork, was comfortable in the office, and experienced compassionate and professional care. Ive had eye issues in the past, too, including laser surgery that Dr. Lefland managed along with the eye surgeon, and its always been a pleasure to have him as a caregiver. The office staff, both clinical and admin, are also wonderful. Very efficient, friendly and welcoming!

I cant say enough about the exceptional care and service I received from the Dr. as well as his entire staff during my recent unplanned visit. I walked into the office with no appointment on New Years Eve with an extremely red and irritated eye. From start to finish (including the dr removing a piece of steel wool from my eye!!) I was in and out of his office in less than an hour. I cant thank everyone there enough and would recommend this company to anyone in need of excellent eye care!!

When I went to TotalVision Eyecare Center, I felt very comfortable and at ease. I was greeted immediately. The staff there talked me through each step of everything I did that day. The doctor answered every question I had and explained everything in detail. When leaving I felt refreshed and relieved that I went to a place that took great care of me. My exam was thorough and he took time to explain each procedure and discussed my options for my contact lenses in great detail. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and Dr. Lefland knew right away what was wrong when I described the problem I was having with one eye.
