Short Review: Quality Chiropractic Care; Cool Contraptions; Kind Crew; Cookies. Long Review: I’m one of those idiots who doesn’t really like going to doctors. After a month of severe lower back pain, I gave in and decided to try chiropractic, which I really didn’t have much faith in. Dr. Raya, seeing I was in pain, made sure to get me in for an appointment right away. An MRI revealed a herniated disc and a bulging disc. A month later, after 3 visits/week I am definitely improving. For perspective, a day without 6-12 ibuprofen was paralyzing; now, no meds and I’m uncomfortable at worst. Conclusion: time, chiropractic care, and, perhaps, the Nubax traction machine I bought for home are making me better. I’m used to relatively long appointments when going to a doctor; it took me a while to realize that chiropractic is different. I’ll spend about 5 minutes actually getting adjusted with a doctor. Then there’s the 15-30 minutes’ worth of therapy which consists of all kinds of crazy contraptions to stretch, stimulate, and heal. The Raya Clinic definitely seems to have all of the state-of-the-art contraptions to help, including some super-machine that costs $5,000 out-of-pocket to use. This was recommended to me, but I decided against it. As much as the appointments have helped diagnose my problem and get me on the right track, I probably wouldn’t bother going so often (or maybe at all) if it weren’t for the staff. Put simply: The Raya Clinic staff is exemplary when it comes to customer service. I--accompanied by my two young children--am always greeted by a smiling, friendly face at reception (thanks, Jessica!). Dr. Marcus—and all of the providers—are warm, welcoming, accessible and amiable. Once I am actually in back for my therapies, the Medical Assistants continue the sterling service; in fact, I actually enjoy sitting back there because of how genuinely pleasant and kind the staff members are. Sam in particular is just awesome. When my children are done in the playroom (which houses ample toys), they come sit in the therapy room where Sam welcomes them with over-sized coloring books. Of course, Mike, Michelle, and Emily are also incredibly kind and affable. Even though I usually have electrodes on my back or something dangling from my head, I feel so comfortable there that the atmosphere is more akin to being in a coffee-shop with friends than in therapy. Do not get me wrong: there is certainly no lack of professionalism; rather, Sam and the rest of the staff not only do their jobs well, but, as importantly, they make the patients feel completely comfortable, at ease, and like they are with friends. Honestly, it is THIS type of atmosphere that has me looking forward to my three-times/week visits rather than dreading them. Anyone who works in customer service should strive to be as warm, welcoming, amiable, and helpful as the people in this office! Finally, there are delicious cookies.

I have been going to Dr Raya for over 25yrs. She and her staff have helped me, my family, my friends, and anyone I have sent there with many issues. One of the things I love about the Raya Clinic is that it offers so many healthcare options under one roof! I have used them for physical therapy for injuries or after surgery, acupuncture for my sinuses and chiropractic for my neck and back issues. After a bad car accident my neck was severely injured. When I failed to get better Dr Raya referred me to a neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon worked with Dr Raya and approved that I could continue to get treatments from Dr Raya and the Raya clinic. My most life changing moment came when my husband and I were trying to get pregnant. Being in my 40s we needed to do IVF treatment. After 3 failed attempts we decided for one more and then we were done. Dr Rayas help with my infertility changed our lives forever! Dr Raya performed acupuncture on me during the IVF process. After a few treatments IT WORKED!! and even though Dr Raya was out of the country, she personally called us to congratulate us. I gave birth to happy healthy twin boys. She has taken care of my whole family including my children. She helped them both after birth over come developmental issues due to being premature. Her abilities in pediatric and obstetric chiropractic were invaluable to my family. My boys who are now 2yrs old love her and love going to the clinic! This place is amazing and has changed my life and my families for the better!!! What I love about Dr Raya and her practice is they have always been there for me and my family. I Definitely recommend them to everyone .

I was fortunate enough to see both sides of the Raya Clinic as I have been an employee of Dr. Raya’s as well as a patient. During the time that I worked for her I witnessed how compassionate and competent she is as a physician. She is devoted and effortlessly establishes a personable patient/doctor rapport. In addition, I observed many patients lives being changed for the better. Every morning, she would have a meeting to discuss the patients care as a team, regardless if she was working that day or not. She took the time to go through each patients chart and review the treatment plan with the other doctors and staff, and made any changes that were appropriate. The staff was on top of re-examining the patients periodically to ensure that the plan was deemed fit and adjust accordingly if any changes would rise. Personally, as a patient she was able to determine why I had chronic stomach pain through her nutritional testing. I had been going to a primary care doctor, GI specialist, and multiple ER visits but none of them suggested the test that Dr. Raya did. She also did a thorough physical exam and when I received my results she explained everything before she even worked on me. I continue to receive treatment, even though I am no longer employed there. The holistic care, the experienced physicians and staff, the comprehensive testing, and the empathetic approach is why Raya Clinic has been successful for so long. I would highly recommend this chiropractic center to everyone I know.

I have been a patient of the Raya Clinic since 2013 at the recommendation of a friend. My back went out with no obvious reason and I was in significant pain and could not stand up straight. My first instinct was that I should call my primary care physician and get something for the pain. My friend recommended that I see a chiropractor instead and told me about his good experience with the Raya Clinic as opposed to other chiropractors he had used in the past. Even from the first phone call, I knew I made the right choice. Everyone at the clinic has been friendly and accommodating to my situation and needs. They have a number of different treatments available and I have been able to speak with them about what I feel works and doesnt work for me. They have also gone out of their way throughout my treatment to make sure I am feeling better, even going as far as to call me between visits to check in when I report relapses in pain or ability. I am also glad that I chose the Raya Clinic and chiropractic care in general because I was able to heal my injury without any intervention of pain killers and through use of exercises and life style changes.
