My daughter was just diagnosed with RSP at New Britain General after having to take her to the ER. My concern with Dr. Friedman is we had taken my daughter to see her the day before and the doctor told us she had a Broncial Virus and to keep an eye on her breathing. In having to go to the ER, we learned that RSP was going around and they tested her right there. I dont understand why Dr. Friedman didnt test her in the office or give us the information that it could be more than "just a broncial virus". I dont feel as a new parent that this was handled in the best manner. It is great that Dr. Friedman is open one Saturday a month for her patients but we still needed to go to the hospital the next day and I in my opinion that could have been avoided. I feel she doesnt give enough information.

Fantastic Pediatrician. Choosing Dr. Friedman to be our childrens pediatrician 7 years ago was one of the best parenting decisions we have ever made. Dr. Friedman is capable, knowlegable and available to her patients at all times. Dr. Friedman has guided our family through both challenging and wonderful times and she does not rest until our questions and concerns are answered.

Excellent, caring pediatrician. I have complete confidence in her. She really takes the time to explain everything to us - I never feel rushed in there. She always fits us in for sick appointments the same day. And we dont have to deal with an answering service, because she gave us her cell phone number! I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Friedman has been my trusted caring and highly educated pediatrician for 20+ years. She has never let me down and always made me feel that my concerns, no matter how small, mattered. She has always taken the time to educate me on the health issues my children had faced.
