Before writing this review I read the ones before me. I know everyones opinions are different but I had the absolute opposite visit than the reviews under me. I am a mom of 5 and a grandma of 2. All these kids see West Haven Pediatrics. The office is professional, clean and the staff is beyond caring. There has been different occasions where I have gotten phone calls to check up on my kids in the middle of the night. Most people do not realize times vary in a doctors office and appts run late depending on someone elses symptoms. Set appt times can not always be guaranteed. West Haven Pediatrics has always been very accommodating. I was appalled to see the word "ghetto" in the last review as this office is far from. Friendly environment, respectful staff, and a much more beautiful office than the last office they had. People who do not get their way are going to criticize others. Thank you West Haven Pediatrics staff for always making our kids first.

Dont waste your time. Ive waited for no less than 40 minutes to see the one doctor each time Ive been with my young babies. Dr. Jacob is incredibly condescending and is not knowledgeable or particularly supportive of breastfeeding (she explained to me that breastfeeding causes jaundice, which is true in less than 2% of babies, and asked me several times if I was sure my milk had actually come in - disregarding babys weight gain and my own assurances). She is the only doctor in this practice now, which surely contributes to the long waits. There is no lab at this facility, which means heading to a separate blood draw facility, only some of which specialize in pediatrics. Nurses are kind but inept - today, one nurse was unable to read my 5-day-old babys temperature with an electronic ear thermometer. While the location is convenient; were switching practices in order to receive more timely, supportive care for our babies.

Clean and beautiful office! Staff is always respectful and professional. Extremely accommodating of appointment times. Highly recommend to anyone looking to seek medical care from a compassionate Doctor like Dr. Jacob. The APRN in office is cherry knowledgeable and caring as well. Very thorough and respectful of different cultures and beliefs as well. The providers are very resources to info around town for great fitness and education opportunities.

Great professional staff. They always are helpful and explain thoroughly if you need help understanding. Their Bilingual skills are highly appreciated for my family who doesnt speak much English. Thank You West Haven Pediatrics for all you do. We love this Doctors office and HIGHLY Recommend to anyone whom is looking for a dedicated doctor who truly cares about her patients. Doctor jacob is kind no doubt but they are so slow. The team are not so friendly and takes forever to wait for the doctor. One thing we choose to leave this place was when my baby had a high fever we called them several times and did not get any respond back. Really disappointed. We moved to another pedia and they call you even in the middle of the night to make sure your baby is ok.

Dr Jacob is very compassionate and caring doctor who runs an excellent practice and is always looking out whats in the best interest for your kids.I highly recommend her as well as her staff.As far as the reviews that mention complaints about waiting, etc. I would love to know one person who hasnt ever waited at a doctors office, Im pretty sure they dont exist.

Best Doctor Ever! Great Bedside manner, respectful, and trustworthy. The front staff is welcoming and you get that homely vibe immediately when you walk in! I would highly recommend this office! They will always get you in if an urgent sick visit is needed. Very accamodating to the times I need.

This place is HORRIBLE. They all are very unprofessional. Never call you back with your childs results all they care is about making money. They take forever to call u in and when your in a room they even take longer. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE

its hard to explain but;This is the type of practice that makes you wanna be a kid again. Dr. Jacob very patient and gives you the quality of time. Im definitely recommending this place to my sister so she could bring my niece and nephew
