I am writing this recommendation from both a health care professional and patient perspective. I have experienced full recovery from the treatment provided by Tony and Amanda for running related injuries such as hamstring strain, ITB issues, and plantar fasciitis. In addition, I herniated a disc in my back, L5S1 that resulted in painful sciatica .Throughout the different approaches to heal these injuries, there was regular assessment and re-evaluation of the progress that I was attaining. My program was adjusted as needed. Home exercises were provided that were practical and are now incorporated in my daily routine to prevent further injury to these areas. With each injury I thought my running days were near end, yet I would leave stronger and smarter about how to prevent injury, maintain strength, and therefore improve performance. The administrative staff (Christy and Beth) are so proficient in arranging appointments and managing the billing claims. They are both courteous and responsive to all questions and concerns. This is a PT practice for all types of injuries, not just sports related issues. As a nurse, I would highly recommend that my patients seek Wilton Physical Therapy for all of their rehabilitation needs. As a patient, I would not consider any other practice for treatment.

I have used Wilton Physical Therapy for past running related injuries and, more recently, for therapy on a separated shoulder. I have found them to be helpful and attentive, much moreso than my orthopedic who gives a quick diagnosis without listening but that is another story. Also, during the last two instances, their diagnosis of my injury proved to be spot on and they were able to target my treatment to hasten the recovery. As an athlete, I believe Tony Grabiecs experience as a triathlete, runner, cyclists has given him the experience to treat sports injuries more effectively than other PTs I have been to. I just went to recommend Wilton PT to a friend and could not believe the negative review (which was just duplicated from one below, I assume from the same person). At least in my experience and in the experiences of people I recommended, they are one of the better PT teams.

I chose Wilton Physical Therapy due to its convenient location but soon found that the facility had a special quality. I had a hamstring injury and Tony got me back up to my original activities. He was knowledgeable and made my rehab a pleasureable experience. The entire staff was friendly and worked well together. I am a busy executive and sometimes had limited times to come in for appointments but Tony either opened a slot during his lunch, after hrs or fit me in without disrupting normal patient flow. I would highly recommend Wilton Physical Therapy for physical therapy.

I tore my patella tendon and had surgery to repair it several months ago. My surgeon recommended Tony Grabiec and Wilton Physical Therapy to me without hesitation. Tony and his staff were incredibly professional, highly attentive and designed a therapy plan that helped me recover very quickly. I have been treated by the staff at WPT twice, both times after shoulder surgeries. I have found the staff to be very thorough and knowledgeable. Their treating PTs are also athletes, and they have shown a knack for pushing me while also being attentive to my feedback. They had me marathon training 6 weeks post surgery in 2010 and ready for the paddle season a few months later. I am confident I will be back in action after my most recent procedure. Their administrative staff has been very helpful and their aides very competent as well.

I have been to WPT for 2 separate injuries in the past 2 years, dealing with my foot and achilles. Never had a problem getting a convenient appointment time. The staff was always kind and courteous, and made every effort to get me back on my feet and running again. My achilles was back to 100% within weeks, and my more recent injury is improving steadily. Physical Therapy is never fun but the staff here makes the recovery process as pleasant as possible.Tony, Amanda and their team are skilled physical therapists, always positive in a great mood and make a conscience effort to make all their patients feel comfortable and at ease.
