Ive been going to Dr. Garcia for just over a year. She is so different then most doctors Ive been to. She takes time to listen, doesnt rush you out, it feels like she really cares about your health. She will take time just to talk you through the process so youre comfortable. I originally came to Dr. Garcia as a last resort. I was frightened of chiropractors, Id heard it wasnt "real" medicine and it could injure you, but I was desperate. I hadnt been injured, but was dealing with pain and tightness in my back and neck, due to what I believed was stress. The masseuse I went to said my back was all knots. My pain was so bad I couldnt straighten up or turn my head easily. ONE(!) visit in March and I felt about, I think, 75% better, I was able to turn my head, while I was still tight and sore, I could sit and stand up straight comfortably. Even better, although I wasnt able follow (due to money/insurance and not being able to take time off work) the regime of intense visits, its been a year of visits every couple of weeks and I feel about 95% better. I used to get headaches almost daily at work, so bad I couldnt concentrate and taking 4 Alieves a day, I hardly ever get stress related headaches now. I can feel my back tighten up during stressful periods, but it fades pretty quickly. And I havent been seriously sick (cold/flu) for about 13 months even though others in my office all around me have been ill and I had been getting sick, it seemed, monthly before seeing Dr. Garcia. Maybe all coincidence, but these are all things Dr. Garcia said getting adjusted could help counter. As far as price, if you dont have insurance, its still not terribly expensive (even with therapies, its just around $100 for a visit). When I told Dr. Garcia about the issues I had with insurance, she said she could work with me and she also has package deals that reduce the cost even more. The staff is also amazing. Theyre all so friendly and seem genuinely glad to see you. Again, different then so many other places Ive been (although the staff at the X-ray facility downstairs Dr. Garcia recommends is also wonderful).

The results are in.... "you said Dr. Garcias staff was rude and hard to deal with." The lie detector determined that was a lie. "you said that chiropractors are just scam artists." The lie detector determined that was a lie. "you said that when you first shuffled in to see Dr. Garcia that you were 242 lbs. with two shoulders and a back that were in constant pain." The lie detector determined you are telling the truth. Im sure you can see where Im going with this. Just like many others I was a skeptic about chiropractic but I was sent by referral and had to give it a go to make my family doctor happy. She made me commit to 3 weeks and then to 6 weeks before I gave up on her. Now I bounce into her office every Friday afternoon 63 lbs. lighter and feeling great. I dont advertise her as a weight loss doctor but weight loss comes when you feel alive again. FYI... Not all chiropractors would find the humor in me referring to them as my favorite crack dealer but my awesome Dr. does!

I went in for one adjustment earlier this month, because I was new to this chiropractic center I asked how much the exam would be and after reviewing my insurance information I was told the cost to me would be $30. I paid with cash in the office and then a few weeks later am sent a bill for over $300 and countless calls to the office and billing department offered no help. I got ripped off!!!
