The care and compassion of the doctors and staff was exceptional. We brought our beloved yellow lab named Dusty Rose in twice - first was with font leg in pain and unable to stand. Dr. Amy Bringardner and team were great. They took x-rays and quick to get us results in less than 30 minutes. While we waited they brought in warm soft blankets for her to lay on the floor so she would be comfortable. Dr. was so compassionate in the delivery of bad news and suggestions (no pressure) . We brought her home and two days later had to bring her back only this time in sever pain after a procedure done someplace else to determine if it was cancer. Dr. Kevin Lura and team were again compassionate to help her and us during a really difficult time. Jennifer came out to our car and brought her in on a cart and they took the time to call the other Vet hospital that performed the procedure to understand what we were dealing with. They kept her over night, Jennifer assured us that she would make a cozy bed for her to rest and they used her own bed too so she would have have smells she knew. They gave her fluids and high level of pain medication. Dr. Lura called early in the am before he was leaving his shift to give us update (that was not good) He called back with in twenty minutes to see how we were and if we had made any decisions. We came back early in the morning to say our good byes and let her go and be at peace. Dr. Amy Bringardner was there again and hugged me tightly and assured me we were doing the right thing. I cannot tell you how hard it was but to have that hug and confirmation means the world to me. Again the process was as compassionate as it could be and they called all the other Dr.s to let them know so we didnt have to make the calls. I truly felt like they were not all about the money and they handled things in a way that we never expected and will forever appreciate. I highly recommend them and know that you dont have to drive to Sarasota for quality emergency care. My husband and I thank both the doctors and Jennifer, and Joey and the rest of the team for being there when we needed you. The Emanuels

Our dog had a minor emergency late last night. Since our normal vet was obviously closed at midnight, their answering service recommended this emergency clinic. I called them and spoke to a friendly staff member who offered some advise to try to deal with the issue at home. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to resolve the problem myself, so I drove our dog over. He was seen immediately and they fixed him up within a few minutes - and he was very happy for that! This was my first time going to an emergency vet, but Ive had friends and family members who had to go to other places in the past. They often reported horrible stories and being charged rediculous amounts of money for routine procedures. Im happy to say that this was NOT the case here. It was not much more than what your regular vet would charge you, which is certainly justifiable since they are open at midnight on Saturday night. The visit, procedure and bottle of pain medicine was only $120 which is very fair in my opinion. While I honestly hope we never require their services again, if we did have another emergency, I wouldnt think twice before going here and I have no problem recommending it to others. The staff are friendly, responsive and knowledgeable, and they have fair prices and dont try to take advantage of people in their time of need like some other places. Five stars.

Our Cat Camo was really sick this weekend. We had no clue what was wrong. Since it was after 6 on Friday our regular Vet referred us to these wonderful people. They were on the ball the second we walked through the door and very friendly. They had her diagnosed fairly quickly. Our cat needed a blood transfusion. Which as you can imagine was not going to be a cheap procedure. Knowing that our cat would most likely not survive without it, they took the time to go over the cost and treatment plans with us. It came down to we just couldnt afford it. Before we even had to entertain the thought of possibly having to put our sweet girl down they came to us with a solution and we were able to get our girl the treatment she needed to survive. She spent the night at their clinic. They told us we could call and check on her any time no matter how late. We were able to take her home the next day to recover in her own environment. The Staff of Bradenton Veterinary Emergency were absolutely amazing. They knew what they were doing and did it quickly while still tending to the needy pet parents as well. Thank you Dr. Jamie Davison and staff so much for saving our girl.

Our 8 week old lab puppy, Shadow, was vomiting, lethargic, and just not feeling well and had us very concerned. We decided at 10pm on a Friday night to find an Emergency vet to get him checked out. After a quick google search we found Bradenton Veterinary Emergency hospital. The whole experience was very pleasant. The receptionist, vet tech, and vet were all very helpful and caring. They provided immediate care, and affordable options for our little pup. We left there an hour later satisfied and so pleased with the service we received for Shadow. By the next morning their treatment had kicked in and Shadow was feeling good as new! The best part, is that they called us later that day to check in on Shadow and see how he was doing. What great service! If we ever have a need for an Emergency Vet, we know where to go! I highly recommend this vet for your ER Vet needs.

On Sunday afternoon, after our 4 month old feral kitten reappeared after a 4 day absence, dragging herself across the back yard; off to the emergency clinic we went. Multiple pelvic fractures were found we were given a detailed prognosis, some kindly advice, as well as recommendations and specific directions. It gave us the confidence to go home and aid in the rehabilitation of this little purr box that had adopted us The entire staff were super, quick to help, caring and empathetic throughout the entire afternoon. And the follow-up calls were totally unexpected and extremely helpful and reassuring. Though they have not been our normal veterinarians, they get my vote as one of the best around. Bravo to Kelly and everyone there.

We were new to the area and had a kitten with a heart murmur. Kitten had difficulty breathing & we went to the emergency clinic. Had the best care possible. Dr Ashley was very knowledgable with his issue. She reassured us that his problem could resolve itself but put us in touch with a cardiologist in Tampa for further testing. Everyone is great there, as we have had to take our kitty back. From the receptionist to the techs & doctors, u are treated professionally & with compassion. Because of our excellent care at the clinic, we now take our pets to Desoto veterinary, which is in the same building. Very satisfied with both.
