I really like Kpt. Vet Hospital. I have been going here for years now and they have taken care of many different pets. Years ago when I fed my cat some of that bad cat food that was pulled from the shelves. I thought my cat was going to die. My cat had to be hooked up to IVs everyday for a week, flushing his kidneys and several blood test later you can imagine the medical bill. I thought that the cat food company was going to re- imburse people for their cost, well think again they didnt and Dr. Johnson was very nice working with me on paying my bill. Not like a lot of these other vet places who would of wanted the money up front or they would of let him died. Needless to say, years later my cat is still with me. Ive had to put down older dogs and they send me sympathy cards to my home signed by everyone letting me know they cared. There has been many "Great" vets that has come and gone from there, one of my favorites right now is Dr. Dotson. He is great with animals. All I can say is try them out. They are a lot cheaper than most vets too.

1st visit: minimal treatment for black cat. now, nearly 2 YEARS LATER, find out cat STILL has the condition that SHOULD HAVE been treated (was under assumption no other treatment was needed or necessary, misinformed), or should have had guidance for follow up treatment to rid her of this illness. Lucky she is still alive! >:( 2nd visit: NO treatment at all for 2nd pet (another black cat, saved from shelter). this doctor refused necessary treatment ALTOGETHER, stating it seemed to be "too far progressed" for treatment or recovery. Took this pet to another clinic and received more than the needed medical treatment needed. He is now doing fabulous, considering this malpractice. Good vet clinic for some.... But NOT recommended for those seeking medical help for BLACK CATS. (Shameful & Disgraceful to their profession)

We had a dog taken to this veterinarian yesterday with what we now know to be the symptoms of distemper .I think distemper was totally missed by the veterinarian at this location resulting in the dogs death this morning!The dog had been to this location 2 weeks ago for surgery and returned yesterday for this condition and for a follow up from the surgery.Its a sad day dogs are family to me. .

I had a great experience with kingsport vet hospital . Back in June of 2016 my cat, Peanut became very ill all of a sudden and I was devastated! I had to have her put down, the vet I saw there had so much compassion for my situation . She sent me a card for my loss which was so sweet. They knew she was my baby. I would highly recommend them. I cant thank them enough!!

This is a walk-in vet so the wait time is a little long but the visits never last more then an hour or two. Prices are very affordable with teeth cleaning and nails being less the $100. Lab work does take 24 hours at least as there is no on site Lab as well as no X-ray on site.

Took our dog Gator there today. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. They even helped with some medicine for him and didnt charge for anything today and one of the techs paid for his rabies shot. We will definitely be back.we love this place.

My mother and I have used this vet for years and have had no problems out of them. They were very sweet to my Chihuahua when she gave birth and had complications and for the record i dont have any pet insurance either,

Took my father-in-laws 14 year old Boston in for an eye problem they were great..Dr ketron did a great job..hopefully she is on the mend we will find out Friday with the recheck..

Well, Speechgeek95, this is an animal hospital. They legally COULD NOT provide a human health care. Maybe you should try an actual hospital in Kingsport, there are two here.
