#1 PLACE TO TAKE A PET! They actually care! I love animals & Ive devoted my life to helping all of them that need help! I rescue a lot of animals & I house a lot of animals & Ive been to a lot of clinics. Most of them care more about getting your money up front before they treat your pet! Even if your pet was needing emergency attention & time is of the essence, many other places (that I would like to mention) have made me wait until they could get a estimated bill for treatment, and also pay upfront before they would begin treatment! Even if your pet is dieing on their floor! THATS WHY IVE QUIT GOING ANYWHERE ELSE! IM TELLING YOU FROM FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE! THE KINDNESS ANIMAL CLINIC IS NOT LIKE THIS! THEY CARE & EVEN HAVE THE COMMON SENSE TO SEE IF YOUR PET NEEDS HELP NOW, THEY GIVE YOUR PET ATTENTION AND WORRY ABOUT PAYMENT AFTER THEY GET YOUR PET STABLE! Ive found that the staff & doctors & EVEN THE owner really do care more about your pet than money & also more than any other vet/clinic that Ive ever visited! Now I will not take my pets or rescued animals anywhere else. Upon a recent visit, I was even out of funds and could not pay until later that day and they still took my pet into a room to begin treatment even knowing that I did not have any money! They seen that my pet was very ill & time was not on my side and they immediately addressed my pet over all others that did not need emergency help! Now, you probably think that I bring them a lot of business or that Ive been there before or even know someone...... NO, THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT & THE ONLY REASON I WENT HERE WAS BECAUSE I WAS REFERRED BY A FRIEND OF A FRIEND AND I WAS SICK OF ALL THE OTHER PLACES THAT DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET, THEY JUST WANT YOUR CASH! Plus I was told that the Kindness Animal Clinic will work with me upon payment..... Well, to my surprise, they did treat me just like I was told! They never seen me before and never helped one of my pets, yet they treated me and my pet like we were special and with love and care! AND WE NEVER VISITED THERE BEFORE! YOUD THINK WE HAD BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS & SPENDING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! All the other places that I used to go Ive already spent thousands of dollars & not one of those old places would give me a band aid before I gave them a $250 dollar deposit! Now you can see why Ive changed vet clinics! I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE NOW! PLUS THE PRICING FOR EVERYTHING INCLUDING PRICE QUOTES THAT I GOT FOR FUTURE TREATMENT & DISEASE PREVENTION MEDICATIONS WERE ALMOST 50% LESS THAN ANYWHERE ELSE! God blessed me with finding them! Bless them all at the Kindness Animal Clinic!

Id give this clinic a mixed review: mostly positive but with a few drawbacks. Positive: Good treatment of animals; reasonable prices. Negative: Front office not run well; untidiness. The best part is that everyone was gentle with my cat, and even used soft voices when I requested that they do so. The one staff member whom I asked told me that she loved working there and that everyone on the staff, including the vet, was excellent at what they did. That gave me a lot of confidence in them as a team. I chose it after a horrible experience with a vet closer to home, and I thought a place called "Kindness" must have been named by someone who cared a lot for animals. Its a pretty long drive from my house, but I had a coupon (from the clinic website) for a first visit, and my cat needed some help as she wasnt passing urine. The first person I met was Dr. Nancy, who was sitting behind the reception area. She has very kind eyes and a soft voice, both of which made me think shed be good with animals. And she was -- but it took a while for my cat to be seen, both times I went there. The clinic does not seem to be run very efficiently. I had to wait quite a while both times I took my cat there, and no one told me how long Id be waiting or when Id be seen. The first time, I had to ask the vet, who was sitting at the reception area and apparently not busy -- that seemed odd to me. (f she could sit quietly at the front desk, why couldnt she see my cat?) The second time, I was put into a room and saw the vet fairly quickly, but then there was a very, very long wait while someone else came to do the procedure. Again, no one told me what to expect. Thats not a terrible problem, but they could easily do the "front office" stuff a bit better. I think they should have a full-time receptionist to take calls and welcome clients. The office, too, does seem a bit overcrowded and shabby, but I dont care much about that.

As a new client to Kindness Animal Clinic, We made an appointment to discuss our 14 year old dogs options and wanted to get something to keep her comfortable, We left with anti- itch medication I was extremely disappointed in the entire visit. Starting off with the phone call to make an appointment. The receptionist was rude and did not have any customer service skills. I almost canceled after that experience, But I wanted to give Kindness another chance. After arriving 15 mins early to fill out new patient forms and give them a copy of records, we still experienced a very long wait. We waited an hour to be seen. Once in the room the "vet tech" announced she was not even a certified veterinary technician. She was very ignorant and seemed lost. Then she continued to push on my dogs hips( she has severe arthritis in her hips), and poke her 3-5 times to draw blood. My dog is very mellow and all she needed to do was take blood from her neck, like i recommend in the first place. We spent more time waiting. The Doctor was in the room for a total of 5 minutes. Did not care to discuss some concerns we had with our 14 year old dog. She too seemed clueless, she had never heard of Dasuquin, which is a very common glucosamine drug recommend by veterinarians. After we had told her our dog was already on Glucosamine and fish oils, she decided to send us home with an over priced vitamin chew you can get at Petco or Amazon for half the price. So to sum up our disappointing visit, I can tell you we will not be going back to Kindness and will not recommend them to anyone. I have worked at a couple of Veterinary hospitals and this would have been inexceptable!

Ive been going to Kindness Animal Clinic & "Doc Nancy" since 1984. She has seen every fur-baby our family has had, both cats & dogs. While sometimes the office may be a little crowded, there have only been a few times where I may have waited 15 minutes or less. On those occasions, Ive found out they had an immediate crisis with a walk-in pet (hit by vehicle, dying, etc.). Their policy is to be as timely as possible, but those type emergencies take precedence. I found that out myself, when one of my sons picked up our own pet from her office, pulled out of the parking area, and was involved in a major vehicle accident in which our pet, the one he JUST picked up, was ejected from his vehicle, even though dog-belted in. Some people there picked up our pet, while emergency crews were handling my son and human emergencies, and rushed our pet into Doc Nancy and they informed us where she was. Our pet was immediately seen and, after the human crisis was handled, I contacted Doc Nancy who told us not to worry, they would take care of her until our family emergency was resolved. When I came to get our pet, 36 hrs. later, there was NO charge for anything...the re-exam of our pet, the boarding - nothing. Her fees are more than reasonable; she has always been up-front with services needed, never recommending anything not needed. She and her staff have always been compassionate and kind, and I would, have, and will continue to recommend her and her office for veterinarian services. Our family is truly appreciative of everything they have done and will continue to go to her for services!!! We love you, "Doc Nancy"!
