I was scheduled for a one-level fusion at L5-S1 in February, 2013 after having two discectomies (2008 and 2009) on the same disc. I was told by two neurosurgeons that I had three bulging discs, indicating degenerative disc disease and would most likely need another fusion later in life (Im in my late 30s). My neurosurgeon informed me that once I had the surgery and healed for 12 months, she would start me on aggressive decompression and laser treatments in attempts to prolong the need for a three-level fusion. Three weeks prior to surgery, my mother called to tell me that her chiropractor in Illinois recommended that I speak with his close colleague, an orthopedic surgeon who he works closely with to try to keep his patients out of surgery. Ironically, the ortho told me that he has great success using decompression/refraction combined with K-Laser treatments and suggested that I look on the K-Laser website for a local practitioner. I opted for prehab instead of rehab. This is how I came to find Dr. Rick Galloway. He told me on my first visit to give him three weeks and he would let me know honestly if he could help me or if I should have the fusion. After three visits over the span of a week-and-a-half, my pain went from “debilitating” to “barely noticeable”. It’s now been five weeks and I’m completely out of pain. He has reduced my twice-a-week visits to “as-needed”, although Im scheduling twice-a-month while I’m working my way back into more intense exercise. Dr. Galloway’s exam was very thorough and he was able to identify the source of the problem. He used the perfect combination of aggressive and conservative therapies to get me back to life quickly. I can even run again and I’m starting to lose the weight that I packed on after injuring my back 10 months ago. I should also mention that I’m nationally certified in Public Health, tasked with the responsibility to provide oversight to the medical field, which makes me completely qualified to make this statement: Thank you Dr. Galloway for providing the highest quality in chiropractic care, and for making it accessible by keeping your prices so reasonable. I only wish I could have found you years ago.

Ive suffered from headaches and migraines for almost 30 years. Ive explored endless paths to end this pain. Ive found little relief sadly. My Nurse Practitioner at Bloomingdale Medical HIGHLY recommended Dr. Frank and his staff and she suggested I make an appointment. When youve had chronic pain for as long as I have, you get excited that this "new treatment will help" but then when it doesnt, youre so disappointed. My first appointment with Dr. Frank was so upbeat, positive, hopeful and above all, realistic. I loved that Dr. Frank recognized that you dont just undo 24 years of pain in one session. We discussed expectations and areas he felt he could help. For me, a combination of sessions with him and his massage therapists was the right path. As I had reached my out of pocket maximum for the year, I wanted to get in as many visits as I could in December and his wonderful, kind, compassionate, sweet staff set me up with 3 visits a week. Like every other review says, Dr. Frank and his staff truly care for your health and well being. Heres what I admire the most about Dr. Frank: after being a patient for about a month, we assessed how I was feeling. Dr. Frank suggested two other paths for me to follow in addition to his care. How refreshing to know that he put MY health first, even if it meant that I cut back on my visits with him and his therapists. It truly showed what a kind, caring, good man he is. What was best for me was more important than how much money he would make. I look forward to continuing my care with Dr. Frank but also exploring his suggestion that I try accupuncture for my headaches. He recommended a wonderful Accupuncurist that I will meet with soon. My doctor couldnt have been more right: Dr. Frank and all of his staff are wonderful people who put their patients FIRST.

I recently moved from South Florida so had to find another chiropractor to help treat a chronic lower back problem and occasional neck stiffness. I initially went to another chiropractor in Fishhawk but did not feel that my primary issue was being addressed (lower back) while instead having my neck being the major focus of adjustments. After 4-5 visits I decided to look for a different chiropractor and give Valrico Spine and Rehab a try given the number of outstanding reviews. Well all I can say is Im glad I did! After close to a year of no significant improvement in my lower back, Id say Im now 80% back to normal - and thats after only a half dozen visits. First off, dont expect to be in and out in five minutes (that may be after waiting around for 20 minutes to see the Dr.). If youve been to other Chiropractors in the past, youll know what I mean - a back or neck adjustment takes around 5 minutes and youre done. Much different experience with Dr. Frank. Youll not feel like youre on the "Chiropractor Conveyor Belt". Dr. Frank spends time stretching out the area of concern PRIOR to any adjustment - something that most Chiropractors dont do. As well, he does provide Electrical Muscle Stimulation if you need it and other techniques that many other Chiropractors dont provide, or provide at additional costs. Ive had Chiropractors all over North America and Id say hes probably the best Ive ever had. Apart from being a great Doctor, Frank is also a great guy. As someone else mentioned, after a couple of visits youll feel like youve known him all your life. Finally, dont expect Dr. Frank to lock you into a long-term treatment plan that will cost you significant $$s up front. Dr. Frank is all about one treatment at a time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I dont usually write reviews but I had such a good experience with Dr. Fabbiano that I feel compelled to write one. I have gone to several chiropractors in the last few years due to issues I had after a bad car accident yet I have continued to have a lot of nagging pain since my initial accident. I had pretty much given up hope until one of my friends recommended Dr. Fabbiano. I called for an appointment and was able to get in that day which was pleasantly surprising. When I arrived the staff were super friendly and I was seen without so much as a 5 minute wait. Ive been going to doctors for a long time and Im use to sitting in waiting rooms for at least a half hour so this was great to be able to get in so quickly. I spoke with Dr. Fabbiano at length and he was very reassuring. He discussed my treatment options and expectations in a way that made me understand my pain much better and unlike many other chiropractors Ive met I never felt like he was trying to sell me anything or keep me there longer than I should be. His treatments were great and I left feeling amazing. As of now I am totally pain free and I owe it all to him. Thanks doc! I totally recommended him to all of my family members and although I hope I dont have to see him too soon I know that hell be there when I need him.

Ive spent years racing motorcycles and I was afraid I needed back surgery due to a few unfortunate crashes. After a few failed chiropractor visits I decided to give Valrico Spine and Rehab Center a chance base on some really good reviews. Dr. Fabbiano and his team did not disappoint. They took the time to assess my issues, have my MRI read and prescribe a short-term recovery plan. After a few weeks of visits and moving on to physical therapy, I feel much better. Still have work to do but my daily pain is no longer an issue and I am now able to resume my daily activities. It was settling to know that there are still people out there willing to listen to patient issues and willing to put in the work instead of just sending a patient to a surgery clinic. I was impressed with Dr. Fabbiano’s willingness to explain my issues in laymen’s terms and provide an honest assessment of my situation vs. just crack my back and get me out of the office. The staff is excellent and very accommodating. I would recommend Valrico Spine and Rehab Center 100%. I feel fortunate to have found this place.
