I have been a patient of Coast Dental - Plantation office - for their orthodontic care. At first, they had a great doctor, so I was happy with my service. They have however changed the doctor and everything went downhill from there. There were several times when I would show up for an appointment, to be told that I have to reschedule because the doctor is not in today, or something has happened - I do not understand how the receptionist could not make a phone call and let me know ahead of time, before I loose the 30-40 min to get there. I had to stay with them as I have already paid in full, therefore I just kept on going, trying to be understanding, and mostly because I didnt have too much time to research other doctors and go through the process again. Because I liked the doctor, initially I didnt really pay attention to their managerial skills. In time however, I started to notice how unorganized and unprofessional their whole office was. Just to give you one example of this total lack of organization and care: My insurance changed, and they had some problems with the billing, of which I was not aware until a half year later. When I finished my treatment, I asked for my balance, I paid what I was told that I owed the company. A couple months later, I checked my credit score, and apparently I have been put in collection for a $600 bill that I have not been told about. When I called for clarification, the corporate office not only was very dismissive, but told me that they have two types of accounts that they use at their offices, and that this bill was for my second account. How is it possible that somoene asks ahead of time how much do they owe and than they get another bill charged. I have checked with Better Business Bureau, and apparently they are not even registered with them. Stay away from this place at what ever the cost.

They really dont even deserve a one at all. I really really dont waste my time writing reviews because everyone experiences is different but I can only go base off mine experience. Soooo Ive been trying to set up an appointment with them and they never answer the phone. I was so desperate to get some work done on my mouth, so I had sent my husband there to tell them that Ive been calling to set up an appointment ( let me tell you this he said he been watching them ignoring phone calls) the lady told me that there is only one person at the front desk so she cant answer all calls which it is a lie. So when I finally had went to see them the staff was just straight up unprofessional. Yes they was friendly but they keep laughing and talking. I dont like that when it come to someone like me who is afraid to go the dentist, they should welcome me and make me feel at ease. So when I saw the lady doctor I cant get her name she went over everything she was really sweet. But this is why they deserve a one because they really over charge the hell out of me. Even with my insurance that I have with my job. They charge me around $650. I went to sage dental and my deep cleaning was only like $120 for all four quad. I was like that it?? So I was being wayyyy over charge at coast dental. Just make sure if you go to this dentist that you are not being charge. Oh yeah I almost forgot I paid $25 copay but with my insurance I wasnt suppose to pay anything. When I went to Sage dental my exam was $0.00. So thats my reason. And one last thing I wanted my medical information for my records and they didnt want to give it to me but I still got it anyway and went over it with my insurance and I knew I was still being over charge I hope this review help.

I had dental work completed 6 months ago at this facility (bonding) it cracked easily and had to go back due to much compound on the back that is was hard to chew. Well over the past 6 months I have had some serious problems with the bonding and as months go by has chipped and the worst bonding Job I have ever had done. This new dentist refused to fix work that the old dentist had completed which left the facility all together. The new dentist is extremely unprofessional and he literally walked out of the room without assisting further on if he could recommend someone else that could assist me. He was rude and had chipped teeth and not professional. While in the waiting room I could hear over the phone how the numbers were low at that specific location and its extremely obvious why.

Charged me $5000 for work that I paid on the spot, then turned me into a collection department for $100 they said I never paid. Went on my report but they never sent a bill. Paid it on my next cleaning, then one of the caps they put on fell off! After all that they wanted $250 to pull the tooth I spent1200 to save. I stopped going because of high pressure sales. The office is nice but they are ripoffs. Staff changed a lot.I guess good dentist leave after finding out about the way they do business. If you have to go good luck to you!

The office looks nice, staff is okay but they will try to rip you off! They never contacted my insurance company to see what I was approved of and said I was only approved for 200$ The end coast was 5 thousand dollars They were trying to make me pay out of pocket. I called my insurance and they said coastal never contacted them. They will try to scam you. Be careful I called to confront them and they hung up the phone

This dental is ridiculous. Very nice and neat office but office staffs are a whole different thing. Let me tell you all what happened, these knuckleheads wants to over charge me for everything, they refused to give me my own medical forms.

PLEASE AVOID COMING TO THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THEY ARE CROOKS AND WILL CHARGE YOU FOR SERVICES THAT YOU DID NOT GET. WENT THROUGH HELL WITH THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE TO HAVE NOTHING RESOLVED. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
