All right so, today was my third visit to the office. The first time I went for an initial consultation. I recently moved from Georgia and had the same dentist for almost 25 years. I walk into Dr. Stantons office and I have to say that right off the back I was not impressed. He visited me and appeared "unhappy" with my mouth and what he found. Figure a comic book with the little clouds representing the characters thoughts: "when was the last time this person saw a dentist". Thankfully I never judge on a first account. He told me what needed to be done, didnt spend more than 5/7 minutes with me and went back to what he was doing. I felt disregarded and didnt really like him, and he was extremely serious and not friendly at all. I get the treatment plan (I was in shock at what needed to be done) and make an appointment for my cleaning. Go back the following week for my cleaning with Marcos: AWESOME hygienist, very friendly and knowledgeable. Thank God I take care of my teeth! Proceed to make the appointment for what needs to be done for several reasons: the cost and the time in which everything will be done. I have had crowns done in the past and have always had dental insurance. The cost I was going to pay was well worth the job I was getting done. I had 3 crowns done in one time and a filling. Next time it is only 2 fillings and a dental guard. Today the doctor was more friendly, or at least he smiled and seemed to enjoy himself. It was the end of the day so I would have understood if he had not been friendly, but he was. I guess the first time he was either in a bad mood, or maybe he is the type of person that needs to "warm up" to you before actually being nice. So I am glad I did not write this review after my first time. It would have not been like this one. The only negative is having to pretty much pay all upfront. I understood having to pay a "down payment" (50%) when booking the first appointment for a treatment plan, but I dont understand why I need to pay the balance before the job is finished. This is why I gave them 4 stars. I dont think this is the correct way to do business and some people might be turned off by it. Something to consider.

As a medical professional i am utterly disgusted at how snotty and unprofessional the employees are at this office. I would not be the least bit surprised if i found out all of the "good reviews" on this site are fake. With my first visit to the office i noticed immediately that there was an uppity, uncomfortable feeling in the air. Right then i knew i didnt like it, but it was too late to bail out. That feeling i felt upon first entering was confimed when i met the doctor who is not personable what so ever. Still i let it slide because this place is close to my house and i needed to go to the dentist. Well, i made another appointment which i ended up missing due to being held up at work. I had full intentions of going up until the actual day and had no time to call. After leaving work that day (already missed the appointment) i get a rather unpleasant call from one of the employees. She was rude, apathetic, and sarcastic. She told me i had missed my appointment and when i told her why she gave me attitude and sarcastically said "yea.....ok..." as though she didnt believe me. The conversation went on from there with her giving me some more attitude and making me feel like i committed murder when all i did was miss a damn appointment, and then she proceeded to hang up on me. I called back and told the girl who answered that her coworker had hung up on me (she didnt seem to care), but mentioned that i owe them $50 because i missed the appointment... This fee was never mentioned on the website or in the emails or anything. So i not only got suprise b*tchiness from their worker i also got a hidden fee! yay! Long story short, i will not be returning. I think that the attitude i received from that office worker is a reflection of how this doctor runs his office and trains his staff. ive contemplated contacting him to let him know this, but i gather that he wouldnt give a crap considering what other reviewers have written. SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME, THE MONEY, and THE ANGER and just go get your dental work somewhere else, trust me, youll thank me later.

Dr, Stanton has been my dentist in Ft. Lauderdale for the past few years. I have always had positive, friendly experiences with him and his staff. I am always greeted by name and with a smile by the receptionists when I walk into the office, which is very refreshing in South Florida. The dental hygienists have always been very thorough with my cleanings as well as promoting preventative care. I am a working professional so its hard for me to find the time for cleanings. They are always on time and I am usually out of there in 30-40 minutes for a simple cleaning. I had a freakish experience in which my jaw became spontaneously malaligned creating excruciating pain. I called the office, not knowing what to do, and Dr, Stanton saw me that same day. He was very compassionate and was able to determine the problem and treatment plan quickly. It was improved by the next day and completely resolved within 2-3 days. Strangely, its never happened since. I certainly wont complain. I have also seen several of his patients that he has made vaneers for (I think that is the correct term) and was so impressed how real they looked. In fact, if they hadnt told me, I would have never known. The said he makes them himself,,,very meticulously, If I ever need them, I will definitely be going to Dr, Stanton. I highly recommend Dr. Stanton and his staff!!

The entire staff is great from the second you walk in the receptionist was on the phone. However the hygienist was sitting at the desk and instead of say not my job he said hello she will be with you shortly and then explained who he was. Then had my X-rays and she was super friendly nice and we bonded over some stories. Then the dr came in and again equally as nice friendly! We joked around while he delivered the news that I need a crown, need my tooth bonded, and that my mouth guard for grinding wouldnt work from the case on my nightstand. To which he said so do you wear it? I explained that we shouldnt start our relationship based on a lie so "no nope sorry?" Hahaha. I love that they take pics of your teeth so you can see what they are talking about. I never right reviews but we all hate dentists and mechanics because not like you can argue! This dentist should not be feared and for the first time ever I am ok with going back. Plus no multiple visits for a crown bc they make it there! The prices were also not outrageous so 1 million stars for the office that makes the dentist as nice of an experience that you can have at a dentist. Dr Stanton your the best and so is your staff.
