My husband and I have been very satisfied customers of this location for several years. The clean, modern facilities were very welcome and impressive after what we saw in some really awful offices. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the dentists, periodontists and hygienists at this practice. And the front office team has always been very kind and solicitous. We have had two issues, but feel that they could have happened anywhere. First, there was a hiccup in processing benefits from the major and supplementary insurance my husband and I carry, and this resulted in a large, long-standing open balance with Great Expressions, which was annoying, but Great Expressions worked to sort everything out appropriately, writing off the portion that was no longer claimable because so much time had elapsed. Second, I had to have a crown recast and refitted after a junior staff person given the opportunity to cast and fit the mold did not do so properly, but Great Expressions corrected the problem at no expense to me for the additional mold and visits. My only complaint has been with the reachability of the front office staff by phone. (The reminder service from the staff is great, and in fact, for that they have recently implemented an email option that avoids the phone altogether.) Whn you want to call in, you might get an off-hours phone message in the middle of normal business hours, making it confusing about whether you can or cannot reach someone, or you might get through and leave a message but not always get a call back, making it unclear whether the message never reached the intended recipient or the intended recipient never called back for whatever reason. I think their phone protocols need some polishing. Once you do actually reach the person you need to reach, they couldnt be nicer or more helpful. For readers wanting to reconcile the negative reviews with mine, Im not sure what to say. I can add that this practice has undergone some reorganization since the earlier reviews were written. However, even at the time of those reviews I was a satisfied customer. In any case, I dont hesitate to recommend this location of the Great Expressions group to anyone I meet. Its a great place, and my husband and I are extremely happy with the dental care we receive there.

AWFULL EXPERENCE! I called to make an appointment for 6/19/17 and I asked if there would be any monies I would owe as co-payments with my Aetna Health/Delta Dental Plan. I was told that there shouldnt be. I arrived at my appointment and spoke with Francesca and was told the same thing. I finished with my appointment and was told that I owed $117.00. No one even bothered to call and verify my plan co-payments. I was told by Francesca that she would call my carrier again regarding the balance due and get back with me. I sent her an email and she said the carrier couldnt do anything about it. I emailed her a reply that I would like to speak with the manager and she replied she was the manager of the office. I emailed back asking for her supervisor or GM and she would never give me the information. On 6/30/17, I sent an email and hard copy letter to the Complaint Department at Corporate and I have yet to receive a response back regarding the balance due. Actually, I received another bill in the mail for $117.00. I think this place is very unprofessional. All other Doctor Offices I have gone through would call and verify coverages before even guessing. Choose another Dental Office with better customer service! Larry/Fort Lauderdale

The worst dental experience I have ever had. After I saw the dentist he tried to up sell me on 5 useless items. I told the dental tech that I just wanted the regular cleaning. Much to my surprise I was told I am not scheduled to see the hygienist for another 50 minutes. I have never heard of this in a dental office before. Very upset I decide to wait and get it over with. After 30 minutes of waiting the secretary asks me if I would like to check out so I can leave right after the hygienist. She then tries to charge me for one of the deep cleaning procedures that I said I did not want. When I protest she tells me that is my only option. I left without the cleaning. This place is simply trying to suck more money out of you and is not provided the basic services that I asked for when I made the appointment. Skip it.

When living in FL I was going to Dental Health Group...I felt treated like a customer not a patient! Over priced and will have you get more work done then needed just for your money. I have since moved. The dentist I have now is amazing! Explains everything to me and ALL my options. Today he was re-doing a filling that the Dental Health Group had done less then a year ago and PULLED OUT A PIECE OF A COTTON BALL!!!!! When the filling was originally done they had drilled all the way through to the nerve (which then needed a root canal!) and just placed a piece of cotton with some medicine on it and filled my tooth in! I am so angry!!!!

This place was terrible. I liked the dentist himself but he rarely was the one doing the work on my teeth. The hygienist did a poor job applying a crown and I had to have another dentist remove excess cement and then I think it wasnt sealed properly and I ended up having nerve damage and had to get a root canal. I moved and instead of sending me bills (even with a forward on my address) they just sent it straight to collections. Ridiculous. Do not recommend this place. Oh, and when I asked them to send my dental records to the new dentist they said it would cost $40. It was cheaper just to get new x-rays taken. What a rip off!

One of the best Dentist Ive ever known. I knew Joel Frand in Wash. DC 25 years ago and was thrilled to find him here in Ft. Lauderdale. Obviously the staff has changed there from the other reviews Ive read because the entire staff is amazing and very friendly. Both my husband and I are extremely happy with Great Expressions! My suggestion, just go!

The office manager at the front desk is very rude. Check charge schedule with your insurance, they have made up codes with hidden prices that dont match. They are very sketchy. The office is nice and clean but the staff is weird. Expensive. Stay away

They have bulldog-lesbians as customer service - treating customers like prisoners as opposed to helping them. Collection agency mentality -> screw the customers as opposed to help them. LOL run for your life!

Terrible. They never answer the phone or get back to you if leaving a voicemail. First dental visit they quoted me $5K for all this work that wasnt even necessary. Do NOT recommend.

Dont trust the Hygienist. Hell try to sell you unnecessary procedures. The Doctor luckily isn’t that greedy and more concerned about you health.

If you want modern - you got it. If you want good service - you better run elsewhere.
