Just moved from NYC and have been calling different dentist offices all day asking different questions about the availability and the insurance policies that are accepted. When I called this office i told the receptionist what insurance I had and asked if they accepted it. She ignores the question and asks who I am and told me I had to come in. She then kept pressuring me for my name and phone number. I felt like I was on the phone with a telemarketer. I would have been more than happy to come in if she would have actually answered my questions but she just kept saying " well the doctor wants you to come in for an Xray and an examination and then he will talk about insurance"... who does that?! Why would drive all the way to their office just to let someone do an Xray and then to find out I have to pay out of pocket for it.I told her I was not interested and she kept pressuring me and after telling her I was shocked by this policy and that I would just call another office she said ok and we both hung up. Moments later I receive several phone calls one from a number i had never seen before, the lady who was on the line sounded just like the receptionist. She said she had the wrong number and hung up. Not even 2 minutes after this phone call i receive another call directly from their mainline, I sent the call to Voicemail, can you believe they didnt have the decency to leave a message. They obviously wanted something, only god know what it was. I considered calling them back but didnt bother, I was already turned off by them. Not interested in their services. To be fair I will say that i have never been to this office, nor have I had any of their dentist work on my teeth. I am not commenting on their work ethics or performance or how clean the office was/is. My review of this place was strictly to let them know that they lost a patient because of this crazy policy. I also will not be making any referrals

I am a Texas snowbird, and spend winters in South Florida. Last Saturday Feb 21 one part of my lower right bridge came loose. Since I was familiar with The Pankey Institute, a dental training school in Key Biscayne, Florida, I called them to request a local Pankey Institute-trained dentist. They referred me to Dr. Bruce Holz in Fort Lauderdale, some 20 miles north. So I telephoned Dr. Holz office. Even though it was Saturday, Dr. Holz Office coordinator Janice answered her cellphone, and made a special trip into the office and set up an appointment for me on an emergency basis for Monday Feb 23. Dr. Holz and his staff have a caring, reassuring attitude, and I was immediately put at ease. His assistant Mari is a dental expert. All procedures were very comfortable, everything was explained to me beforehand. One tooth was badly decayed, but Dr. Holz was able to save me from a root canal. I am looking forward to receiving my new bridge. I highly recommend Dr. Holz and his staff.

Dr Holz and the complete office staff are wonderful in everyway! I have been going to Dr. Holz for 10 years and it started from a serious accident and couldnt imagine having found a more personable office to help get me through alll of the dental work I needed! I fully recommend them to all of my friends and couldnt imagine having to search for another dentist!

Dr. Holz is an amazing person and a great dentist. He is really interested in the best for his patients and never stops researching and improving his dentistry, as he does what he loves. Both, he and his staff, will do whatever it takes to take care of his patients.
