I am praying that my company will terminate the contract with Blue Cross & Blue Shield. Worst service I ever received in my life. The moment I needed the insurance most, they made me out of the bag! No one cares about you ... Insurance has a contract with Care Centrix and Atria (Atria has 813 patient complaints online, because they continue with the company?) People needing Oxygenio who do not deliver, people who had to stay in the hospital unnecessarily Because they did not give the equipment for the person to go home, horrible !!!! For the love of God, someone can do something! I had surgery and Im lying in bed without moving because they promised to deliver the material and when you call every hour are different answers...... I need help .....I cannot deal anymore with Atria or Care Cetrix . I am alone in home without any equipment . They promise deliver and never did ....

Any star is one to many for this company. They enter into contract with the health insurance company as in network providers providing at home medical equipment at negotiated prices to the patient. Appria will not deliver your medical equipment for discharge unless you provide them with your credit card number in the case the insurance company does not pay them the amount billed. This would be understood for benefits which are not 100% covered but in this case they are. As an in network provider they are prohibited from billing the patient outside of the negotiated rate approved.by the insurance company. So far my hospital discharge has been delayed 3 days and today is Saturday, Appria s rating should be negative stars.

I am very disappointed that Apria will not pick up the wheel chair for me as a return. That was their policy apparently prior to February 2013. There was NO notice to me that that was the case. Now I have to figure out someway to return it out to Miramar from downtown Miami. I cannot lift anything and have no one to help me during the day. This is ridicluous and very bad service on the part of Apria. I am 67 yrs old with a bad back and bad knee. So be aware of this policy before you rent anything from this company.
