I have beeen going to SW Internal Medicine for 5 years now. First my wife started to see Dr. Aparna, then she recommended me to Dr. Galceran, now Gradma also sees Dr. Galceran. What I like about this Practice, is that whatever Doctor I see, or if I urgently need to get in and have to see a PA, they all treat me, as family of theirs. The level of professionalism and overall health concern exhibited by everyone at Southwest Internal Medicine Specialists is incredible. I even get follow up calls after my visits to see if my health concerns are improving or if I need to see them again. I would highly recommend, that if your looking for a caring and compassionate Internal Medicine doctor in Orlando or a General Practitioner, go see Southwest Internal Medicine and Dr. Galcerans Team. I learned through research that Internal Medicine Specialists, attend an additional 2 years of Medical College to achieve the designation of Internal Medicine Specialist. What I like about that is when I see Dr. Galceran, I can talk to him about every medical concern i have and get accurate and correct information regarding my health condition, I trust Dr. Galceran enough, that I have decided to have my botox and restylene injections done by him, more medical offices could learn alot about customer service from this group.

"Was" a patient of this Dr. in the past. Started off ok until she turned into another physician as time goes on. Her professionalism is more so an "entitlement" than a medical doctor. She speaks to you as if you have no common sense and then proceeds to lecture you should you have a difference of opinion. She can be rude and condescending if you dont just take her advice and move on. Making a suggestion about YOUR own health care is not in her agenda. The office staff is no better. They will jerk you around when it comes to you needing appointments, cancellations, paperwork, refills, etc. Office staff is not concerned about what works for you but what works best for them - and you will feel that. Best to do your homework before choosing a GP and office that fits and respects your needs.

I have been seeing this Particular practice for about 10yrs they all know me I spend a lot of time there lol. They are kind and gentle and are always just a phone call away. I do I have a favorite I must say but I do love them with all my heart. Rebekah James sees literally just about all the women in our family she Is family to us. She been there for me in so many ways making sure Im well taking care of. The staff there is also awesome its one person I have anything bad to say about. Paperwork, refills, etc...its handled without any problems. Ive recommended so many people to Southwest Internal medicine and they havent regretted they love it just as much as I do.

This office called me 2 hours before my appointment which I had to take off of work to tell me they dont accept my insurance any longer! They charge you if you dont give 24 hours notice!! completely unprofessional!!
