Trying to get an appointment is a real chore. The office is only open about 22 hours a week. (No, he is not in surgery or teaching the rest of the week!) The receptionist acts likes it is YOUR responsibility to be available for THEIR office-hours. They will not take credit cards. They will not give you a postage paid envelope to mail in your check. They charge you for an "office visit" to renew a prescription or get a copy for 90 day supply from your mail-order supplier. Besides sarcasm, the receptionist (Carol) actually hung up on me ...TWICE! You cannot speak to the doctor on the phone. They will not MAIL you a copy of your Rx for re-fills. You must pick it up during THEIR limited office hours. ("Please bring CASH!") If you are changing pharmacies, they wont call in your prescription or FAX it to the new provider (without an charge). They may not "like" your insurance plans co-pays and may refuse to order special vaccines because it is not "worth it" for them ($200-$300 for shingles!)? If you think that I am exaggerating, please call the Milner office yourself and "feel the chill". Are you near Solon? Go to the Cleveland Clinic Internal Medicine on Harper Road. They will see you, happily accept your insurance plan, and help any way they can with copies of your records or prescriptions. And they do it with a smile in their voice.

Dr. Michael Milner has been my Primary Care Physician for the past 15+ years. His office staff always help to get me a prompt appointment and I am treated with the utmost respect. One of the best things about Dr. Milner is that he really listens to his patients and you can tell that he cares about you as a patient and as a person. Dr. Milner goes above and beyond and he takes extensive notes and revisits those notes from each office visit. He is very knowledgeable and I like that he does not just offer a "one size fits all" approach to medicine. He has helped to refer me to several great specialists in the area that accept my insurance as well. I would highly recommend Dr. Michael Milner to anyone in the area!

I was looking for the office phone number and I couldnt believe these reviews. We never had a problem scheduling an appointment or with refills. We feel that he really knows who we are and we are not just a number like in other big hospital systems. Our doctors pediatrician is Dr, Sherry Milner and we are happy with her too. I dont have any complains about the office staff either. They are very helpful.

Dr. Milner spends a lot of time (normally an hour for routine visits) with me reviewing my conditions. I feel that he has spend time reviewing my files before he walked in to the exam room. Also, every appointment has started on time. Rx refills have never been a problem. I just called for a same day appointment and got it.
