I never write reviews, but Dr Lesser and her staff are soooo amazing I have to write a comment. My daughter just turned 4, she had two fillings and two stainless steel crowns done with oral sedation at another office. It was a horrible experience! We werent able to be with her for the treatment, and when she was done, she was crying and her mouth was bleeding. We new she needed a couple more fillings. We couldnt take her back to the same place. We were referred to Dr Lessers office from a friend. From the moment we walked in they were amazing. The front office was amazing with the insurance and scheduling. The assistant was kind and gentle. Dr Lesser did two fillings with nitrous oxide and my daughter did amazing.. She left smiling and happy. And she wants to go back... Dr Lesser is a amazing Doctor. I would recommend this office 100%. They are able to work with kids that had horrible previous experiences. I cant say enough good things about this office. The whole team is exceptional!! We are so thankful to have been referred to this office...

Updating my review on 2/4/2016 - Last night, my daughter fell and hit her mouth, loosening a tooth or to. We called Dr. Lessers office first thing in the morning, and the insisted that they would see her right away, fitting her into to Dr. Lessers schedule. Dr. Lesser assured us that our daughters teeth would firm back up in a few days. I cant imagine a kids dentist more caring or friendly or competent than Dr. Lesser. Dr Lesser and her staff are so efficient and friendly! I have a large family and we can get through all our kids cleanings and exams in a little over an hour. The office is very kid-friendly and the staff are gentle and caring. I wouldnt take my kids anywhere else in the Northern Hillsborough County area

Great experience. My son, the patient, is three and this is his first dental appointment and it went really well. He had a very positive experience. The staff was prepared, kind, patient, very attentive and thorough. The hygienist took the time and patience to talk my son through what she was doing, show him all the tools, preview what she was going to do in order to help him feel comfortable, and then narrate and help coach him through each step so that it was a success for both of them. Dr. Lesser was great, attentive and caring, just what we are looking for in a dentist to take care of our growing kids. We will definitely be going back and taking our other kids in turn.

I took my daughter to three different pediatric dentists before choosing Smile Builders. Dr. Lesser was the only one that was persistent about saving teeth rather than extracting. My daughter had her dental work done today and her teeth look great! Dr. Lesser also personally returned two of my phone calls after our initial visit. I love that she cares and being that shes also sweet is an added bonus. Sabrina did my daughters first teeth cleaning and was very patient explaining everything to her. I am so grateful to have found Smile Builders for my kids. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I need to write this review, I do not usually do it, but what they did was so unprofessional. I made an appointment for my son 6 months in advance, I provide my insurance information at that time, they call me the day before to confirmed the appointment with me, I got there next day, and after filling all the new patient paperwork, they let me know that my insurance is out-of-network, I really did not appreciate not letting me know six months before, or at least the day before that my insurance was out of network, they waist my time, very very unprofessional office, no recommended !!!!

Im writing this because my daughter is VERY difficult when it comes to new experiences, especially with the dentist. I just wanted to say how grateful I am that Dr. Lesser is in our area and that we have the pleasure to use her practice. My daughter needed to have two cavities filled and not only was it very affordable, Dr. Lesser talked my daughter through her fear and the procedure was a success. The staff is wonderful, working with me and my insurance and I will be absolutely taking all my children to her practice. Thank you so much for your services!

For my daughters first dentist visit, I was dreading that she was going to have to be sedated just for them to get her to open her mouth. At first she was a little hesitant because she is very shy around new people however, would you believe that the staff had her smiling and enjoying every moment of being there. It blew my mind how professional and friendly the staff was and especially how quick they were able to get my daughter to actually enjoy her visit. Hands down an awesome place and would recommend them always.

Both my kids love to go to the dentist now that we found Dr. Lesser. The decor is so inviting and there is plenty to do to keep them entertained. But the staff is so efficient, we have never had to wait :) Dr. Lesser is friendly and easy to talk to. My kids have multiple sensitivities and allergies, and there is no pressure to use anything that Im not comfortable with. I love that she is understanding of our situation. Its pretty rare to find a doctor and staff whos got all that....We are very fond of them all.

Love them!!! My little guys (7 & 8) were told they needed extensive dental work. Thankfully we decided to get a second opinion as that wasnt the case. Dr. Lesser has been amazing with them from a cleaning, bedside manner and knowledge perspective!! And when we just had an issue with high fever and sores, Dr. Nichols called us immediately on a weekend and was able to quickly diagnose the issue (after a call to our pediatrician and telemedicine) thank you, thank you!!

My daughter had major dental anxiety at the age of 10 from past experiences. She would not even sit through a cleaning crying inconsolably. Last dentist said they couldnt help me and my daughter needed 5 teeth pulled. We went to smile builders and they were wonderful!! Also so glad we got a second opinion. Dr lesser said none of those teeth needed to be pulled and she was right they all came out on there own the next 3 months.

I took my two older boys to the Dentist this past week... ages 4 and 6. When we pulled in the parking lot my older son said "Yay, I love this place!". They had another great appointment and keep asking when they get to go back. I think its unbelievable considering they would cry and hold on to my leg at first place/Dentists office I took them to. I drive over 45 minutes to get to Dr. Lessers office and its totally worth it!

Smile Builders & Dr. Lesser are WONDERFUL! My son had a couple of prior experiences with 2 other dentists that were painful & scary for him. When they finished his cleaning, fluoride treatment & exam yesterday he said, "Thats it?" with a big smile on his face. Were so happy we found Dr. Lesser. I will not take my son anywhere else. Thank you to all of the staff for their professionalism, kindness and compassion!
