This dentist office has the facade of a kid-friendly pediatric dentist, but I was unimpressed with the experiences we have had at this dentist office. (1) My biggest concern was that the staff was not very kid-friendly. The staff rarely talked to him, they did not do much of anything to try to get him comfortable, and they rarely explained what was going on to him. Rather, most questions and instructions were directed to me, and I had to take charge of the appointment to direct him and explain to him what was going on to attempt to sooth my son into being comfortable with people sticking things in his mouth even though they didnt show him what they were about to do. The best way I can explain it to moms is that it honestly came off as if none of the staff had kids, and you know the difference between how people interact with your kids when they do or do not have some of their own. (2) While the office is decorated with cheerful and bright colors and pictures, there are no other kids there being worked on at the same time, and it is super, super quiet in the exam area. This environment makes it very sterile and even spookier for kids. (3) When the dentist found cavities, he said there were options. But when he attempted to explain my options, he kind of talked in circles which made me unclear of what the options were, and the benefits and drawbacks of each. (4) Over 3 exams with 6 months in between, we only received a cleaning once. The first time I understand because he was so freaked out with the staff that he wouldnt sit in the chair. This past time I have no clue why, but they didnt even try to clean his teeth at the exam. Waste of my money. We started at another pediatric dentist in Gahanna (Hines Little Smiles). After moving 30 min away, we tried Granville Pediatric Dentist since it was much, much closer to our new home. After trying this place for about a year and a half, weve now switched back to our first pediatric dentist in the town we used to live in, driving 30 min to get the kid-friendly care my son is more comfortable with.

I had schedule both of my daughters their first visit with this office. One appointment was at 10:30 the other at 11. We were late for the 10:30 appointment which they wouldnt see my daughter ok understandable but because we were late for the first appointment they wouldnt even see us for our second appointment. Then proceeded to tell us that because we were late and wouldnt see either children we couldnt reschedule at all. They wouldnt accept either of our daughters! We show up late for one appointment and are no longer welcomed there!! By the way we drive an hour to come to this place!

Our 6 year old loves Dr. Pingel. She had an issue with her teeth that required a pediatric dental specialist. Granville was the closest one to us. We drive 3 hours round trip, and it is worth every minute of the drive. Even though Dr. Pingel fixed the issue, and were at a point where she could return to our family dentist, we will keep making this drive because she loves this place! The office is truly a kids paradise. The staff is so friendly. And, everyone there is focused on making kids feel at home and at ease. Highly recommend!!!

We had a very positive experience today at Granville Pediatric Dentistry. Our son had a dental emergency last evening, but we were told it could wait until morning. His regular dentist did not open until 1pm today, so we called this office. Despite not being one of the regular patients they fit us in quickly and whole episode from start to new built tooth was 30 minutes! The staff were very kind and the office was designed to put kids at ease. Very happy with how everything went!

I had a couple of choices of Dentists on my insurance & luckily I chose Granville Pediatric. Dr. Pingel & his staff are first class. Hes so great with kids & way more patient than I could be, & his staff actually loves their job. The office really is a kids paradise, I only wish pediatric dental offices and pediatric dentists were that cool when I was a kid. Ill never go anywhere else.

We absolutely love Dr. Pingle. We previously had a horrible experience with a general dentist in town. He connects so well with our kids. He is so kind and gentle. My child is 2 years old and had a cavity and we are so happy with the work he has done to help prevent further damage. We drive an hour to see him and will continue to so ... He is wonderful!

Everything about this office is great! The staff is incredibly patient and friendly. The atmosphere is really fun for children. It looks like you are in a jungle rather than at a dentists office, which is very fun and calming to my 4-year old son. If you are looking for a dentist who is calm, patient and terrific with children, I highly recommend!!

This place is amazing. The staff is very friendly and they tell you exactly what the plan is for any care. I would highly recommend them to everyone. As for the office its very kid friendly and there are things for your children to do while in the waiting area. Overall I love this place and more importantly my kids love it to.

They are great with kids. Even my youngest which is now 3 but went for the first time at 2 enjoys it. There is hardly ever a wait and they work quick and efficient with the children to make sure they get done what they need to but in a time frame that the child will sit still.

Granville Pediatric Denistry is top notch and highly recommended. Dr. Pingel and his staff does an amazing job with kids. My twins actually love going to the dentist now! Dr. Pingel is very thorough with explaining everything in great detail.

Dr. Pingle is a wonderful dentist. He and his staff took amazing care of our three daughters ages 8, 5 and 2 and a half. My children love going to the dentist and it has everything to do with the amazing care provided here.
