Since moving to Vero Beach from Fort Lauderdale, Ive had the opportunity to visit this World of Vision almost a dozen times. From an eye exam and progressive bifocals for myself, glasses for my oldest daughter, or the occasional repair - Ive never had a problem or issue with the staff here. Friendly staff and quick turnaround on recent orders, I sometimes find myself at World of Vision for "glasses repair" in the form of nose pads or a screw that fell out of the frame. Just recently, Fred handled my repair, replacing a lost screw in my year-old progressive bifocals. Im often accused of having "a screw loose" but this is the first time I needed a repair for something that was "my fault." Fred replaced the screw and cleaned the glasses in about 5 minutes. When I inquired about the cost of the repair, Fred said "free - its offered to our customers." This is the second time Ive had these glasses repaired. About two months ago, I had to have the nose pads replaced. World of Vision didnt charge for that replacement either. From what I was told, nose pads should be replaced on occasion. Store is always clean and its located on the popular Miracle Mile in Vero Beach. Located just west of the Fresh Market, plenty of parking is available. I have been a patient here for years, I love the place. I am greeted with a smile ever time I come in by all of the beautiful ladies that work there. I have witnessed these people in action and have been in the place when they get slammed and I must say these people do a wonderful job making sure everyone has been addressed and helped. I have always received wonderful service, but I have witnessed situations get a little tense with some of the difficult people who are patients there, how the workers retain their poise and professionalism I have no idea, kudos to them though! The beautiful Asian girl has the most amazing smile I have ever seen, she is always working especially hard every time I come in and its obvious, she has a very admirable character, sassy, its obvious this woman is capable of conquering the world. Dr. Glisker is great, he is very professional, and Chris is great as well, he always there to help and he always gives the best prices in town, there is nothing like a great family owned place! I support local business! I believe that every member of their staff is great, and I refer all my friends and family to world of vision.

I have been going here for years, I am sad to say this year will be my last. Dr. Glisker is great at what he does but his current staff are incompetent, rude & arrogant. The middle eastern woman in her late 20s is very rude, arrogant and has a complete attitude. I think she may have watched Shahs Of Sunset one too many times. Girl, you are not rich, you work in customer service and you are TERRIBLE at your job. Get off your high horse and learn to show respect if you want to work in this business. And the tall white gentleman in his late 20s comes off as being a jock reject with a mix of tough guy. I walk in and he comes up to me and stares at me for an awkward 10 seconds then he finally says may I help you. It was just unbelievable the treatment I received after being a customer for so many years. They say they will call you, they never will. They make you feel as if you are bothering them when there is an insurance issue. This is not Beverly Hills, this is Vero Beach. But oh I forgot...ITS SO VERO.

I lost my glasses and needed a new pair. This was my first time coming here. I was shocked at how quickly they tested my vision but glad at how quickly my glasses were ready for pickup. That is, until I had worn them for a couple of days and realized the prescription was wrong and I still couldnt read street signs! I went back to get them corrected and while waiting to be helped I couldnt help but notice how dirty the place was. There were tissues and lenses all over the floor behind the counter---some within inches of a waste basket. I got the feeling then that the employees there dont really give a rip about the place and the owner obviously doesnt take pride in the business to allow it to appear so unkept. Four eyes shoppers--proceed with caution. Really hoping they can get it right the second time!

I went there twice the first time. The first and the last. They act like they are doing you a favor to wait on you. I purchased three pairs of glasses one was a spare. When I tried them a year later they were the wrong prescription. One pair was good. The other, Costa sunglasses with a rubber type trim. The trim came unglued a year later. When I went it to return them they kept telling me they didnt know how much Id be charged. They collected $20 for the freight both ways. Ten days later I Allen. They called Costa to see where they were. Costa had them but had yet to repair them. The store peosonnel seemed indifferent. two weeks later, I still dont have them back.

My family and I have been using world of vision longer than I can remember. We have always been treated with respect, and courtesy. Their prices are way under what some of the other prices. I tell friends and family snot Worldof Vision..my brother and his family, and several friend as well use them. If you want great service, wide selection of eye wear and accessories, great prices, all the while be treated with respect and courtesy. You cant do any better than World of Vision right here on the Miracle Mile instep Beach!

A year ago I purchased glasses from this company and they had no problem taking my money. It took several attempts to make everything right which they did. My year warranty was almost up on the scratch coating and my glasses were scratched. They gave me replacement lens that werent transition so once again they Needed to replace the lens. This they did however these lens seem To be much thicker than my orginial lens which they claim No. This is the last place I would ever do Business with !!!!!!!!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The service was horrible. I have never been treated so poorly. I was over charged and when I informed them that the amount was incorrect the man refused to double check and said that I was wrong. He rudely told me I had to pay what he said.When it was confirmed that I was charged double, they refused to refund me. After 3 weeks, and constantly calling, I finally was refunded. I will never walk in there again. I highly suggest going somewhere else.

I have continually had a wonderful experience. They have fixed , adjusted, and cleaned sunglasses for me . Ones that I have not even purchased from them. I jut dropped my new Oliver people sunglasses from Oliver peoples in N.Y. Both leases fell out and the mettle frame bent I just bought them in in hopes I would not have to send them back to NY. Charles fixed the frame , put the lenses in , and adjusted them on my face. I am thrilled!!!!
