After suffering ,and trying many OTC and home remedies, with a extremely painful and burning rash that had slowly spread from scalp to neck to back to legs for a month. I spent a sleepless night surfing the internet ( which is a great place to find information UNLESS your looking for images of spreading rash) I couldnt take it anymore and googled closest urgent care to my house. I was first in door and was greeted by Kim, after explaining my financial situation she offered me several plans they offer which not only saved me money but was greatly appreciated. After a short wait, (I was first one there) I was called back and had vitals taken by sweet girl named Alisha. 2 minutes later I was seen by Lori Blake FNP and I promptly explained to her about my rash and after spending all night on google was convinced I had contracted an exotic parasite. She didnt mock my over imagination but thoroughly examined me and told me I had contact dermatitis which can be caused by some new product or developing an allergic reaction to product long used and assured me I wasnt going to be featured on some episode of "Monsters inside me" On the way out the ever helpful Kim gave me some RX cards to possibly help with med cost(highly recommend cost went from $42 to $19) Only 3 days later My rash is 75-80 percent better. I realize in a world of urgent care my problem was mild compared to what they see daily but believe me when I say that having a spreading ,burning ,itchy rash for a month was becoming very important in my life. Thanks to all the kind helpful staff at Next Care Susan JackSon

BE AWARE- YOU ARE NOT BEING TREATED BY A DOCTOR!!! THEY ARE NURSE PRACTITIONERS , WITH PERSCRIPTION PRIVILEGE! I was even told "you can see the doctor now". I COMPLAINED ABOUT EXTREME CREEPY CRAWLING ITCHING ON AND UNDER MY SKIN, BUT COULDNT SEE ANY BUGS. She examined me and saw nothing wrong. When I asked a few basic questions that the woman couldnt answer, I said "You did graduate medical school, didnt you?".She said no, Im a nurse practitioner. I then asked to see the MD on service, and was told "We dont have one here." Then, I TOLD HER to just write me a prescription for the strongest skin bug Med you have. She did, and I promptly left. Three weeks later I was admitted to hospital after suffering with the scratchy, creepy crawlies under my skin....turns out I had round and hook worms on and under my skin associated with an unusual fungal disease. (my main residence is in Hawaii ..the Tropics, which I had told the admitting staff and this nurse) I was told by hospital doctors I was lucky the hadnt entered my Brain, or caused blindness!

My Son Was Totally Misdiagnosed - Total Incompetence/Malpractice. He is 21 years old and went in on March 29th, 2012 with chest pains. Rachael Nordmeier, PAC never listened to his chest, never tapped on his chest & never did a chest x-ray but diagnosed him with Gerd. (Acid reflux and heartburn). Her paperwork says painful respiration and she gave him a prescription for Ranitidine to treat heartburn. Her discharge instructions say follow up with an ophthalmologist as instructed (WHAT??) His mom took him to the emergency room and a real Dr listened to his lungs and did an x-ray and diagnosed him with a 90% collapsed lung!!! He spent 5 days in the hospital being treated. With Rachael Nordmeier, PAC’s Gerd diagnose he could have died. Based on our experience and the review below something has to de done about this place before some dies from their incompetence!!!

NOTE: This is not a review of the Drs, but if their appointment system and their front desk personnel. Called early to make an appt. About an hour later was asked to show up about 40 minutes later; no problem. Arrived, explained I had an appointment, was told to fill out forms. Looked on the wait time screen and noticed my wait time was going to be 2.5 hours because I was placed as a walk-in. Went to the desk, re-explained my appointment and was told the call center didnt add me to the queue. Two issues here: 1. If I explained I had an appointment, common sense should have you to let me know theres a discrepancy, not just send me away to fill out forms and mark me as a walk-in. 2. Apparently we were the third person in the day with a call center issue; but yet we received an email asking us to show up later. Where exactly is the disconnect?

I chose to visit the 94th and Northern location at approximately 10pm on a Saturday, and was seen in about 10 minutes. The receptionist up front was very quick with the paperwork, and nice as well. The assistant that took my vitals was polite, and did so even though all of the beds were taken at the moment (to speed things up). I was seen by P.A. Laurie F Espinosa who also was very nice, and recommended a treatment that fit all guidelines for my presenting condition (Acute Bacterial Sinusitis) with some leeway in case there was some resistance to ensure it resolved. Overall I was very pleased with all aspects of my visit on (1/3/2015). I would recommend P.A. Laurie Espinosas care to others based on her bedside manner and knowledge.

Every single staff member was professional and provided Outstanding First-Rate Service. It is unequivocally evident the staffs commitment to excellence when providing top notch health services to their patients. The providers are very knowledgeable, they take the time, not only, to accurately diagnose and treat their patients, but also to properly explain and educate the patient about their health and treatment options. I have been seen in this facility three times and I have brought other family members to this facility many times since the first year they opened; every single time we have had the same positive experience. Thank you for your superb services and keep up the good work.

Just left the urgent care about 20 mins ago. The provider Carey Tucker PA-C was so awesome. He came in confident and so humble. Approaching my 2 year old son as friendly as ever making it so comfortable for him to allow Mr Tucker to perform a proper exam. All the medical assistants was nice as well with taking vitals and pushing play on the dvd player for the movie elf to play which was nice but pointless because we were out of there before the movie actually started. Great experience ever. I definitely recommend nextcare to everyone. P.s. the fornt desk women were nice and provided coloring papers

Went in late on a Monday night (their busiest night). There was not a lot of paperwork to fill out and they saw me within about 30 minutes of checking in. They were slow but thorough and nice. They did an EKG and X-Ray too. The whole thing cost $126 and that covered EVERYTHING, including those tests. I was pleasantly surprised, as the same trip and tests at the ER would have cost considerably more. Took one star off because it wasnt quite as clean as a typical doctors office would be, but that could have been due to the volume of patients they were seeing that night.

I have been going to this clinic for years and have only ever had one bad experience with a physician who is no longer employed there (thank God) and have come to trust them so well that now I bring my son there. The office staff is super friendly and the physicians are experienced and knowledgeable. I cant think of a better place to go in the West Valley when I cant see my Primary Care Physician. Please keep up the amazing work and the new style and look to the clinic is well earned and looks beautiful.
