Incompetent! The reception is great. However, the PA and "medical professionals" are not so great. More like a comedy/horror show. I told them the reason for my visit and my PMH which they did not seem to be interested in. They took my vitals of which my diastolic BP was way too high as well as my Resting HR and!!! my Oxygen saturation was 95 - very low 98-100 is normal. Plus, I had a fever! Im recently recovering from a tumor removal and chronic severe anemia too. Regardless of all of this and knowing my past medical history, they ignored the risky vital signs and did not even tell me them. I was just diligently watching it all. I told the PA that I was experiencing a very bad episode - something that occasionally happens and requested the usual medication for it. Well, the PA was not comfortable prescribing a dosage that would resolve my issue, and he did not know how to write a script for the treatment. When I got my prescription, it was the wrong one. So I could not use it. Well, I woke up the next day much worse. This is dangerous! I called them back to ask for the right medication, but they denied me. So, I called a specialist and asked to be seen. They were booked but told me to go to the Urgent Care. When I told them I did, there was silence; and so we (the Specialist & I) decided that I should go to the ER, as the NextCare Urgent Care practitioners were unwilling to take my illness seriously and unable to treat my medical condition properly and wound up making me get sicker! I am also a medical professional trained at Thomas Jefferson University as a Physical Therapist so I know a thing or two about the medical field, and so I feel that I am accurate when I say that the PAs (and medical staff) here are incompetent and dangerous and should NOT be treating patients. Aside from not knowing how to treat my condition (or caring), they really should have told me about my risky vital signs; told me not to exert myself and counseled me (which would be patient education guys!) to see a specialist or go to the ER if I feel worse, but they did not! The "Physician Assistants" and NextCare Urgent Care should be held liable for neglect and have their licenses suspended or at the very least be re-tested or re-educated. Arent you embarrassed of yourselves... when you flat out just dont know what you are doing. You are putting peoples lives at risk. People who believe that they can trust you - with their lives! You guys did not even inform me of my abnormal & risky vital signs or tell me to follow up with a specialist or anything - really, really bad. * * * This is a very personal and uncomfortable situation to actually share with the world, but I am telling you this because I hope you read the reviews and go elsewhere for proper medical treatment. These guys are dangerous. Plus, incompetence needs to be exposed, and they just count on patients staying quiet because it is just too embarrassing. Be safe and go to another Urgent Care. This one is full of the bad ones. Lake Pleasant Urgent Care Next Care 85382.

Took my son in for a sports physical clearance to play sports at Liberty High School the PA on duty wouldnt sign off on his physical because and I quote "he does not have 20/40 vision so he wont pass him" never heard of this kind of non sense before in my life. I dont know if this was his first sports physical he ever examined but that is ludicrous. Just a word of advice go ask other residents on the protocol for these sports exams as you only annotate *recommend wearing glasses for sports on his physical clearance form. According to the AIA who heads up these physicals that eye tests do not pass or fail you they simply recommend using protective eye wear and or contact lenses when playing sports for kids who test low on exam. Do you know how many high school athletes play sports with poor vision and certainty not 20/40 vision? This is for sports not for a driving a car, totally absurd behavior by this PA on duty will never go here again. I will be sure to tell Liberty High school of this place to NEVER get their sports physicals from this place in the future .........*update* I did leave a email to discuss further to the email you provided still no word in response

The staff was friendly but anyone looking for an urgent care center for your kids should know NOT to go there. My daughter was having an allergic reaction (first time ever so we had no idea what to do or expect) and they checked us in, charged us, took us back to a room, took her vitals and then the doctor came in and told us they cant treat her because she is too small. So, we had to go on to the hospital. It was a waste of time and money so if I can let other parents know not to take kids there because they basically wont treat them thats all I am after. Again, nice staff but when your in a pinch for time and they wont treat your kid, just go somewhere else.

We had a great experience here this morning. My daughter woke up from a nap with a sore throat and fever so we took her in this morning and were able to get in within 30 minutes. We checked in online and by the time we filled out paperwork we were being called back. The medical assistant and Dr. were both very professional and polite and thorough. They did a strep test right away so we didnt have to wait long at all, the whole thing was under 30 minutes total. They called in the prescription and we were on our way. Overall very happy with the service we received, its not the closest urgent care to us but I will definitely be coming back!

If you can, go somewhere else. This location is just plain awful. They alway have an hour plus wait and only 1 PA. Even if you do web check-in you wait 40mins @home then an hour in the clinic! The way they check you in takes 40mins itself. Also when you think you are done and ready to leave you have to wait 10mins for your prescriptions to print! Why the heck have the Urgent Care in your name if you have NO urgency!? They are all really nice dont get me wrong and they do a great job, but they need a better set up or another PA.

I was going to give them 5 stars but they blew it. They were fast and friendly. Felt like I got decent care. Then they dropped the ball. Follow up call promised by reception and never received. A week after my visit, my symptoms worsened. I placed a call early AM on March 29 to speak with the PA-C who saw me. Was told he was with a patient and would return my call "sometime today". That call still has not happened. Apparently I am not worthy of their time. They are not worthy of my money. I will not recommend nor return.

But all and all, not terrible. The misdiagnosis was close. I was diagnosed with bronchitis/pneumonia, and I actually had pneumonia/valley fever- which is MUCH more serious. I found this out through further testing a few days later. The wait to see the dr. was really long. 1.5 hours, and there was only 2-3 people in front of me. I came early- before lunch. Didnt seem to matter. Once I got to the back, the team was super fast. I had blood tests, x rays and flu tests done and results back in 25 minutes.
