I went to this office for a few years usually dealt with a Physicians Assistant. She was nice. However, Dr. Mangan himself was just horrible. Hes rude, insulting, mean. I was stunned at how he behaved towards me, how he treated me. Apparently he doesnt like women who are not skinny. At one point his office staff was yanking me around regarding the scheduling of my elbow surgery and I needed to know what was going on--my father was in the hospital so there were some logistical issues I needed to schedule around. I tried to talk to the doctor directly about what was going on and his response? To cancel the surgery completely unless I just shut up. As I couldnt use my arm, I shut up. Had the surgery. I went to ONE follow-up after surgery and that was it. Havent been back since & considering they only made my right arm WORSE--now its not just my elbow, but my shoulder as well--it was the right choice, which I should have made before this botched surgery. I can no longer raise my right arm up to do things like wash my hair, reach items in a kitchen cabinet--ever tried to shave your pit when you cant raise your arm? That was interesting. Go to this office if ALL you want is some cortisone shots in your knee etc where you ONLY deal with someone like the PA Erin. She was polite and pleasant--to your face anyway. They can accomplish simple tasks quite well. But if you have to interact directly with Mangan & you dont fit his ideal vision of patient body types or need surgery, then run away.

Had wrist surgery and very thankful Dr. Mangan was able to help me. He is caring,, communication was a HUGH plus for me. I thank him and all the staff I have felt with. Staff has been very helpful and understanding to answer all my questions. Its nice to be treated kindly each time by the staff and care of a wonderful Dr. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
