Dr Segal was pleasant enough during our visit which involved a lot of waiting. We were there for almost 2 hours which is long but most new patient exams are. We specifically chose this Doctors office due to my husband unique eye condition. Our time with the doctor felt a little rushed and everything felt like lets hurry up and wait. The poor experience came from the staff and especially the billing company. Simple inquiry questions were met with rude responses and everything was done so slowly all the while they sent bill after bill after bill. I felt like I was a huge inconvenient when they had billed something wrong to insurance and she was really put out by having to fit it. They were supposed to follow up three times with us and every time we had to make the call and were met with more poor customer service and rude responses or were really busy. After we get our bill figured out, which may be never, we will not be returning again and will not recommend this place to anyone else.

Went to this place on a Thursday with severe eye infection, was given a test and was told it was negative and was not contagious so they give me pills and eye drops. Then 2 days later, issue gets progressively worse to the point where I cant see at all. I go back and get the SAME test done and guess what, "its positive ". They prescribe another medicine that is not available at any pharmacy so now I have to wait for it to be ordered. What do I do in the meantime. Well according to Dr. Segal I should just keep looking. Really? The appointment was rushed, they have no bedside manners - my mother and I both felt very uncomfortable. I felt more like a burden, than a patient. Oh did I mention the staff on the phones with patients discussing their PHI so the entire office can hear?? So 2 office co-pays and 4 prescriptions co-pays later, my eye is worse than ever. Visited Milan Eye and was given a completely different diagnosis....

Ive been a patient of Dr Segal for 10 years and hes always been very good. Ive had a couple of emergencies, where I had foreign material in my eye(s), and they have always allowed me to come in without an appointment and treated the problems ASAP. For annual checkups, Dr. Segals staff will prep me and run the standard automated tests, but the doc takes over after that and does a thorough exam. IMO their eyeglasses selection is above average because they have frames not usually available in Lenscrafters and the like, but the prices are a little bit higher. However, a 2 year lens warranty is included on all glasses with AR coating (maybe other treatments too) & the coating method is completely different (better) than what Lenscrafters offers. The Lenscrafters coating will start to peel and streak after a year and they dont cover this in the warranty. The coatings that Ive bought from Dr. Segals office have lasted for years.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Segals for at least 10 years. For most of my life Ive been extreme near sighted. Within the last year Ive had cataract surgeries about 3 months apart. Because my vision was so poor, Dr. Segal gave me the option of having monovision in both eyes or having one eye for distance and one for reading. I opted for the one reading and one distance. Hes amazing! For me, its a miracle waking up every morning and being able to see. Hes a very professional and caring doctor. He and Dr. Lay compliment each other and work seamlessly together. P.S. Surgery day, Dr. Segal has a little bounce in his step that lets you know he still loves what he does.

I had a corneal transplant twice and after the first transplant the transplant scratched my intraocular lens and so I had to do another corneal transplant and I started getting a haze over my vision again and so Dr. Segal suggested that I use a serum that is made from my own blood and for the past 5 or 6 years I have been using this serum twice a day and thanks to this serum Dr. Segal has me on my vision has gotten a lot better and my vision is stable and steady for many years now. I am very grateful that Dr. Segal found a solution that works for me and I could not be happier with my results.

My experience overall was great. I saw both Doctors. Dr. Segal was great at explaining everything to me about the health of my eyes. He was very nice and sociable. The staff was really nice too. The were quick calling me back and getting everything going. Definitely a place where Id stay and get exams yearly.

I recently had cataract surgery and was amazed that I did not have even 1 second of pain at any time during or after the surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Segal. He is very knowledgeable and cares about his patients. I trusted his opinion which was important when having a doctor work on my eyes!

Dr Siegal is the best! I recently had cataract surgery on both eyes and I couldnt be happier. His pre op and post op surgical staff are awesome and his office staff rocks. I would definitely recommend Georgia Eye/Dr Siegal for all your eye issues. You wont be disappointed!!!

Dr Segal and Dr. Lay are absolutely fantastic. I have been seeing Dr. Segal for many years now and Dr. Lay since he has joined the practice. I have dry eye a spend a lot of time at the eye doctor. Their staff is courteous and efficient and the doctors are the best.
