I had an appointment the East Point office today, I get there and they are closed! As I stand outside the door I double check the time to make sure that Im not late, nope 20 minutes early. I notice the receptionist and try getting her attention, she makes eye contact but continues to ignore me. After 5 minutes of trying to get her to acknowledge me I return to my car to call. Once my call is answered I am informed that they decided to close the office today and that they called to reschedule with me Friday but my phone was disconnected. My initial response was a laugh because Ive had this same number for over 10 years and my number has never been disconnected. When I asked why the office was closed she had no answer. When I asked when I could make another appointment I was told next month! Then when I explained that was too long she suggested another location in Dolton! Are you kidding you want me to drive almost 2 hours away because of you alls doing, no thank you. I have been in pain for months and unfortunately this is the only dentist in my network that does extractions. Im just disappointed at the way the situation was handled, the lying about my phone being disconnected (that reflects on my how responsible I am with my finances) and not having open slots for these displaced patients. I hope when I finally do see them that their concern, respect and overall attitude toward their patients is different from what they have already displayed.

Have to add one star so that I can continue to add review. Worst customer service I have ever come across. The front receptionist with glasses and fancy Bluetooth band on her neck was a deal breaker for me. First off there are signs everywhere NO CELL phone conversation while speaking to the personnel but yet her self was chatting on the phone while attending me. When I ask questions she is still speaking so you dont know who is she talking to. Second, she asked me do you want your forms in English? Who automatically judges that someone does not know English. Third, my appointment was at 9:00 and I arrived 40 minutes early and was ready for them, she called me at 9:30 and told me that my insurance will not cover the panoramic X-Rays where as I found out with my insurance before I went there and it is 100% covered but she was demanding me to pay for the X-Rays. I dont know who is right or wrong between the practice or the insurance but I got another appointment else where and they checked right away, it is covered. So my wife and son had upcoming appointments here and my wife just called and politely asked about the X-Ray deal and she casually said I can cancel your appointments too. Guess what, it is cancelled and we are all scheduled at a much better service dental place for adults and children. Over all, bad service at front desk... maybe the dental professionals in the back are decent but today was waste of over 1 hour of my time.

My first appointment was good. Long wait but overall it was OK. I had a tooth that was infected, but in order to take it out I had to have my wisdom tooth out. So I had surgery to have my two bottom wisdom teeth removed and they were supposed to take out the infected tooth as well, but did not. So now , 3 weeks later I am in extreme pain, I am running a fever and my throat is swollen. I arrived this morning 10 minutes before they opened she at first told me they couldnt see me today because they were simply to busy. Then she said she would fit me in and I would have to wait. Fine...3 hours later I ask how many people where In front of me because I was nit feeling well at all. She said their was one in front of me and she still had to verify my insurance. Abother hour passes and 5 people get called. I went up again and asked how much longer. She responded with "I told you wearlier where busy, when I get time to verify your insurance,I will. Im doing paperwork for patients that had appointments." Just rude. I left I will never return. I am now at my doctor getting blood work done because he thinks the infection has spread.

This place really deserves no stars. When I originally took my son here I thought it was the best. They had toys and seemed to be really friendly. Then I took my son back who is now 5 when I get there I waited for an two hours oh and they took all the toys out but you cater to children I think I stopped counting when I had an appointment and was early. Then as Im walking with my son to the back I get stopped and told I cannot go with him because of privacy issues lmao this is a joke right. After yelling a little i go ahead and let him go back and he was ther for proble ten minuets which too me isnt long enough for them to do everything. They tell me he has four cavities to set up an appointment so I do, and what do they do cancel it two days before which pissed me off. I asked around to my family and friends to see if they get to join there kids In the back when they go to the dentist and they all told me yes of course we do dont you

I have been here twice (East Point and Decatur) and the entire staff is a miserable experience. The ladies that work front desk never have an answer for any questions. Their communication skills are terrible. There is only one lady that actually helps, but she helps 2-3 people at one time (Fatima at East Point). The hygienist, x-ray tech, and provider at East Point were by far nicer than Decatur location and provide you with more information. However, again the communication is lost between clinics and it is almost as if they should be two separte business instead of one. I have been waiting on my medical release for three days now and was told I would have it the same day after lunch. Just go else where. The hassle isnt worth it.

I chose this office from an internet search. I arrived about 3:30 for a 4 PM appointment. First impressions are lasting impressions. The ramp leading to the entry area has a large black stain/spill; the corridor was dirty with trash blowing when I opened the door to enter. I looked through the glass door, the dental reception area was dirty; carpet and furniture. To make matters worse directly across the hall is a Pediatric and Infectious Disease Practice. Too much for me! I left and called to say I would not be bringing my grandson to the appointment. No one answered after initial automated message, just music. Finally hung up. Plan to call back and tell them why I left.

Love it here! They have been so friendly and the doctor has a very nice and steady hand! I recieved 9 fill ins and had my wisdom teeth removed here by the surgeon and he was wonderful. It was over before I knew it even happened. I came back for a follow up after I got an absess after surgery and they are taking great care of me. Would not go to any other dentist. Love it here and reccommned it to anyone.
