I have put off writing a review in fear of being treated differently. I absolutely hate this place. I stayed for a few months to just use it until my insurance ran out and I then would start a different doctor. Paper work sucks for somethings I have so I just try to bare with it! This doctor needs to RETIRE!! I felt like another number and felt like that office was just trying to make another dollar rather than treat me like a patient. Most of the time when I would call to make an appointment the person picking up the phone was always grumpy and upset as if I had said something when I havent even gotten pass "hello." By the way they still make their appointments on paper in a binder!!! They need to change to computers!!! This doctor is soo senile. I understand that you see alot of people but Ive been in several times within two months and he would always look and study my chart as if I was a new patient every time. Every visit he would always suggest check ups in which I had just done with him. Suggesting such things made me think he was just trying to make another 50 dollars off me every visit. He always has someone following him (a student shadowing) and thats not a bad thing but when I like that student (more like a doctor student?) it got really hard trying to see him because hes just someone I dont want to see. The student would be gone by the time I got back and replaced by another. Also what I dont understand is how long an appointment takes in the morning. And its not like a busy time. I would literally be in as soon as they would open (leading me to think that Im possibly the first or second patient of the day.) yet it will literally take me 2 hours for the entire appointment. I would spend up to an hour or more just waiting in the patient room alone only to spend 20 minutes max with the doctor. I hated the staff and I hate the doctor. I think he may need to go into a home bc hes so senile and he even once farted before leaving my little patient room. Yes folks! I said it! HE FARTED AND LEFT ME IN THE DUST!! Idk if he was just trying an external male organ or he just needed to change his depends. I hated this place!!!

This practice exists solely to bill insurance. What other professional corporations will do over the phone (customer service) this practice will not consult unless there is a billable option that can be pursued regardless. No focus on the patient is considered, only what can be billed to insurance. As well, Doctor doesnt listen to patients and has a treatment (generally expensive and relatively unneeded) ready before you have even finished talking. Bedside manner (if you want to call it that doesnt exist.) Front office is generally not pleasant to deal with either in person or over the phone and tends not to be the least bit informed about patients except what their copay is or how to bill. Follow on by the office is generally poor and unprofessional. After 20 years in the Military, this office makes routine health care in a van or tent an desirable alternative option. If you have Tricare - look elsewhere. You deserve better and should expect that. You have earned it. In the end your money and your health are far to important to give to anyone less than the best, This isnt it.........

Basically, I agree with all seven of these reviews. On the negative side is what I consider unprofessional and dismissive behavior on the part of the administrative staff. This attitude can also be experienced with a few of the nurses. Policies and Procedures are rigid and inflexible. They do not allow for the "human" equation or emergency needs. This can be seen in how refills are handled. One of the nurses, (Jennifer) is wonderful! Dr. Snell seems forgetful at times and may not carry out completely the health issues of an office visit, unless it fits within the policy framework (e.g., come back for an appointment designed for more time). On the positive side, Dr. Snell, himself, is always pleasant and congenial and I affirm his competency as a physician. I have tried hard to follow his medical advice and instructions (altho I have failed at times in this regard, too). He has addressed the most critical of my health issues and I am more than satisfied. On balance, this arrangement is not what I want from a medical professional. I am examining other options

I have only seen Dr. Snell once. It felt a lot like the same appointments I used to get while in the military, just an insurance number and keep it moving. Dr. Snell was attentive while looking over my injury it just seemed rushed and not personal at all. Dr. Snell was ok, Im writing this review because the customer service is terrible. Two referrals for specialists and two big ordeals, just a lack of communication between their own staff and need for SOP on how to provide good health care. For what I spend on insurance theres no reason to get this kind of customer service from a doctors office. Staff needs customer service training!! Look else were if you have tricare.

I been seeing Dr. Snell for years. As with all Drs offices they are staffed by humans. Overall Dr. Snell is has been effective in diagnosis, treatment, testing recommendations, and responsiveness. All of this with a smile and a hand shake. Any time i have gone to his office I have seen Dr. Snell not his PA or RN always Dr. Snell. His nurses answer the phone or call you back. No there is not a lot of social conversation and they follow the rules. If you havent been in the office in 6 months he will probably insist on seeing you and testing before prescribing refills. Dr. Snell puts in the time with his patient!

Had an appointment at 3 and arrived 15 min early to fill out paperwork. An hour later I was still in the waiting room and two other people came and were called back. When I asked I was told they see people in order of appointment times. So I guess those people who came after me were late for their appointments or they triple booked the 3pm time slot or are terrible at making appointments. Either way I was a first time patient and I walked out. Im a busy person and feel like an hour of my time was stolen that I will never get back. Im finding someone else. All the negative reviews about this place must be right.

Not good!!!! I just moved to Georgia area and needed a family practitioner, and came across Dr.Snell, from the minute I walked in it was unprofessional and unfriendly. Also I desperately needed a prescription filled, and they said it would take a day. I called back two days later after not hearing from them and they rudely said they would call when it was finished. More days passed, I didnt want to call because of their rudeness the first time, I finally called and they said it had been written for a days!!! And they never called!!! Im currently looking for a new family doctor!!!!!Aweful Aweful

My husband went in for a yearly checkup. He was sent for several tests and advised that he needed immunizations. They did not called to verify that these tests would be covered by insurance; though, they told him they would be covered by his insurance before he agreed to go for the testing and receive the immunizations. Why they send him for half of these test, I will never understand. Needless to say, we were stuck with over $600 in charges for the doctors over testing and immunization. Thanks Doc! Its just what we needed.
