My husband and I had been looking for a new primary, and we were referred to Dr. Paritz when my husband needed a pre-surgery approval and the doctor I had been going to wasnt available on short notice. We have since been back numerous times and feel like weve found a home. Dr. Paritz is very congenial, collaborative with the patient, and knowledgeable. He does his best to squeeze you in if possible, otherwise may send you to urgent care, and when he does that, he wants to know what the outcome was. He is happy to prescribe pain meds when appropriate, which isnt always the case these days. I have always liked dealing with a D.O. because they seem to think problems through and come up with the best solution for you rather than just picking the most likely diagnosis and the standard treatment without giving it in-depth consideration. Dr. Paritz is knowledgeable in many areas where another doctor might pass you off to a specialist, and he will deal with it himself if he is confident in his ability to handle it. I would much prefer to stick with one doctor than be run around town to specialists, if he knows what he is doing. There is nothing pretentious about him. I was in today and he was wearing a plaid shirt and jeans. He stopped me in the hall, asked a few questions, and sent me straight to x-ray. And he is relatively young, which I prefer because he is likely to know the latest information, and we arent likely to outlive him.

This was my familys first experience with Dr Paritz and hopefully the last. Took my 86 year old father to see Dr Paritz this morning (in Dr Popykins absence). We were 2 minutes past our 15 min grace period to be late for appt. and Paritz and his staff refused to see my Dad. Said his schedule was jam packed and Paritz himself told the nurse to relay that we would have to go to ER. Not "wait til last to be seen" or "Ill work you into another appt." So here I sit with my two parents in poor health, both in their 80s in the ER for what could have possibly been solved at the doctors office. I would have greatly appreciated if Paritz and staff had given more consideration to my circumstances with my parents instead of dismissing us so quickly for being 2 minutes late. I dont appreciate the undue stress put on my parents. Its a hike just to walk to the ER! Like weve never waited a few minutes on a doctor who is running late!

Dr. Paritz and his staff are professional, caring, and made me feel my health concerns were being heard, understood and addressed properly. I couldnt have had a better experience. I highly recommend Dr. Paritz for his skill as a doctor as well as his bedside manner, time spent, and listening with care & empathy to/with his patients.
