Horrible experience! I am new to Atlanta and was looking for a new primary doctor. Dr. Hicks appeared first in my healthcare providers list so I called an booked. They told me to fast before my physical and when I came in for my 12:00 appointment he was running 45 minutes late. He came in asked me what I was here for and I replied that I needed a new Primary since I just moved to Atlanta, I needed a physical and a refill on my medication. I had all of my medical history and my previous doctors notes and contact information. He only responded to the medication and was dismissive as if I was a drug addict. He said he will write my prescription for one month but didnt think I needed it. He then told me to find a specialist and walked out like he was too busy to see me with no physical even though I payed my $92.00 deductible, filled out many pages of history and fasted all day? I would have emailed him this complaint but his website has no additional contact info and when I called I only got a voicemail. Maybe he reads reviews and will treat new patients with more consideration?

Very professional and courteous each time my family goes in for our appointments. I have had no issues with this clinic. Another thing I will comment on is the promptness at which we are seen. Im in the military, so we are at least 15 minutes prior to any appointment. We are seen at our appointment times or no more than five minutes after. Going to civilian doctors and specialists has been a nightmare for my family, as we have waited over an hour for some appointments. Very unprofessional and unsat when that happens, yet they will cancel your appointment if youre more than 15 minutes late. At this clinic, Ive never had that experience yet. He became our primary care manager in 2014 when we arrived back in country from being overseas. I am very happy with that because punctuality is important to me.

I love my doc. He isnt one to throw meds at every symptom. He listens so he always asks the right questions to get to the root cause. I have been a patient for many years. I trust his advice. His offices are always clean, the office staff are amazing (and not just with me, I see it in how other patients respond to them as well). I was hesitant to write a review, have been for years --because I dont want him to get too busy, which brings up another point...no long waiting. And they are very accommodating when it comes to working you in and providing you with just the right time to show up so that you are not waiting forever, when the unexpected angry throat and scratchy eyes show up uninvited. Appointments as early as 6:45 am, need I say more. Erika

Dr. Hicks is absolutely wonderful. His bedside manner is very attentive, as he truly listens to my concerns and addresses them right away. He is thorough in his examination, leaving no stone un-turned. I love that he does not automatically try to medicate me for my issues... but instead looks to therapy and non-invasive solutions. I am normally very nervous when it comes to medical care, however Dr. Hicks creates a trusting atmosphere coupled with knowledgeable experience, making me feel much more at ease in getting the care I need. I just did my 18th annual medical examination (my second with Dr. Hicks) for the FAA as a professional airline pilot. In as many years, I have never had a doctor as professional and courteous as Dr. Hicks. I have never received more honest answers about my health in the past. His attention to detail is as unquestionable as is his care for your health. His staff is equally dignified, respectful, and courteous. I will never take my business elsewhere, and I strongly recommend this doctor for any pilot seeking an FAA medical.

Best experience! Randomly found him online when I needed a new primary. I was able to get an appointment right away, had a very short wait in the waiting room, nice, and had great interaction with the nurses and staff. Dr. Hicks was super helpful, explained everything to me, went through everything in detailed, answered all my questions, and was just overall very nice. I have recommended him to all of my friends and will continue to do so.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Hicks for almost a decade. He is wonderful, there are no words to describe how much care he has for his patients. He is a very busy man but he takes extra steps to get down to the bottom of any issues and makes excellent recommendations for it. I have recommended him to all of my co workers and friends!

Dr. Hicks is a breath of fresh air compared to my previous primary doctor. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his practice. He went above and beyond at my physical to recommend me to a neighboring dentist which also ended up being a great dentist as I was in search for one anyway. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hicks.

Dr. Hicks is wonderful. A friend recommended him when I was looking for a new PCP and Ive had great experiences with him. He has great bedside manner. He really listens to you and doesnt assume he knows your issue just because he may be busy. He really takes the time to meet with you. I am pleased and will keep him as my PCP

I was seen 5 minutes earlier than my scheduled time and out the door in 30 minutes. Full exam, blood work, etc. Extremely timely and efficient staff. I never thought going to the doctor on a one hour lunch break was possible, especially in Atlanta, but it is! Booked this appointment 2 days out. Great experience.

I called to see if they have any opening on Friday, the clerk said yes. Then I took the time to provide her all the information she needed, then she said, "No". Oh, I was mad. I had to spell my name 3 times for her to get it only to find out that there is no availability. Wow.

Dr. Hicks is awesome, attentive and super professional, his staff is always great, Kita, Shannon, my teenage son also sees Doctor Hicks and he takes good care of all us. He is definitely that kind of doctor who makes a connection and cares about the patients

I have been going to Dr.Hicks for 3 years. First of all, the staff is soooo amazing. From check in to check out, they are sweet. If I am crying they comfort me. If I am happy they are happy for me. Even billing is pleasant.
