Dr. Mark maybe a great doctor but you may not get a chance to find out due the front office staff. They asked that show up thirty minutes early to fill out paper work which I did. Signed in at 8:26 with no one’s name on list above mine 2 patients were filling out paper work on tablets. Waited 15 minutes, being a new patient not sure if I missed something I walk back up to desk and asked if I need to fill out paperwork because another gentlemen came in a few minutes after me was given paper work to fill out. Was told very bluntly that she call me when it she was no longer busy. Sat down wait another 15 minutes which is now pass my appointment time and again asked for the new patent paper work. She told that my appointment was at 9 and she would get with when she could (the lobby is empty). I did reminder her and yes I was direct that the office asked me to come in 30 minutes early. So I sat back down and she called me before could even lean back which to me was a power play showing she was in control. I went up to the desk and she asked for my ID, insurance card and credit card. Now with the new healthcare laws Physicals are cover 100%. So I asked why she needed my Credit Card she said in case you do not pay we keep it on file. I’m sorry Dr. Mark if I am going to have a life long relationship with doctor it not the way I want to start it off. By the way I was a referral to your practice if you like please contact me, Thank you

New patient appt to update immunization for school. They asked for me to come in 30 mins early for check in. Arrived at 1037. Check in was electronic and fast. Called to the back around 11. One lady did a weight check, then called someone else to do my vitals. Sat in the room for about 20 mins before someone else came for temp, HR, and bp. 30 mins later the doc comes in and does a brief pmh (mine is easy, not much going on). Doc is nice and seems to be easy to talk too. Waited 10 mins for someone to arrive with the shot. After the shot, Im just waiting for documentation (Ive already paid during check in).. Left the office doors at 1220. Im not going to complain about the dr, but either scheduling could be improved or staffing is on turtle time.

I went to Urban Family Practice for my annual physical yesterday. Its cool that they check your comfort level before asking to do invasive things. Everyone is super friendly and I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. Charle Cameron, PA was awesome! Please do not hesitate to ask for her. Keep up the great work!
