I am very sad to write this review because I have loved Dr. Mitchell and had been a patient for 4 years. I have been treated better at Urgent Care than here today. I had an appointment to see the PA Kimberley because I couldnt get in with Dr. Mitchell. I have not been feeling very well lately. I told the receptionist I had a couple things of going on when I booked the appointment. When I get there, I was given paperwork for the year to complete, I complete it but the receptionist has gone to lunch so I had to ask the nurse should I take it with me because it was my personal information. You would think the receptionist would have been nice enough to say I am going to lunch just give that to the nurse, but no. I get back to the room and explain to the nurse that I had a couple of things going on. The nurse notifies me that I can only be seen for the one issue that was listed for the appointment. The PA comes in, and I explain what is going on and she informs me I would need to make another appointment for the other issue. REALLY!!! I am sick. You were my second doctor for the day. You are suppose to be a primary care physician. You are suppose to help me figure out what is wrong with me. Maybe one thing is causing the other. Maybe I have something going on in my body causing multiply problems. Needless to say I will not be going back to Northside Family Practice. I was very upset that I came to get help and am told I could only discuss one thing. Not the type of doctor I want taking care of me. I want someone who will listen and be compassionate. If I have multiple problems they address all my needs. If I want one problem to be looked at, I will go to a specialist for that. What do I need a primary care doctor for who can only look at one problem at a time? Dr. Mitchell you may want to look at the people who are representing you when you cant see everyone. Sad to say I will no longer be using Dr. Mitchell because of the PA.

I have been a patient here for many years; however, I will no longer step foot in this place! The office manager with no medical degree told me that I had chronic fatigue syndrome & needed to see an endocrinologist (none of this is true - I have autoimmune disease). I was not given the opportunity to see a doctor to discuss why I was there. This really saddens me that this practice has gone downhill! They were the best, but not anymore.

Dr. Karmen is awesome, everyone else in the practice needs to learn how to communicate and how to properly do their jobs. And when a problem arises that occasionally it would be nice to go above and beyond to help solve the problem rather than pass the buck on to the next person. This is a poorly managed doctors office

He actually LISTENS! Takes his time & talks to you to get to the root of the problem & offers several options to achieve a solution. His staff is very accommodating & fun to be around. I highly recommend this Dr., his staff & this very clean office to any looking for a great family practitioner!

COULD NOT ASK FOR A NICER DOCTOR. He is very caring and listens to your concerns. He truly wants to help his clients. I was referred to him and would happily refer him to other people. The other staff at the office are nice as well but noone matches the level of Dr. Mitchell.
