I came to Piedmont physicians office on a Monday with extremely high blood pressure. I was prescribed medication and sent home and was told to come back in 2 months. The doctor I saw which was Dr.Gumbs and was not my normal doctor. However, 2 days later returned with another issue thinking it was a reaction to the medication. I explain to her my problems. She looks and tells me "I dont know what to tell you. Then she says"what a minute Ill be back. Needless to say she never returned. I was greated by the nurse with discharge papers. When I say I will never return back!!! NEVER AGAIN!! I will still not return even when doctor Merinda returns back to the office. It was a horrible experience. This doctor showed NO COMPASSION! !!

I have been going to this office for over 10 yrs. Every staff member from the front office to the back has always been courteous and professional. I changed to Dr. Gumbs this past January. I could not have found anyone as compassionate and caring as she has been. I think she has all the qualities that I could want for someone to provide for my mental and physical care. I always look forward to my appointments because I never have to wait too long. Thanks Dr. Gumbs for doing an excellent job.
