If I could leave zero stars, I would. My wife was experiencing an abnormal discharge. Like logical adults, we immediately searched for OB/GYNs in our area. This place had good ratings and I am sure only this womans family could have left reviews for her. 1. When we called and reported what was happening with my wife, we were immediately told that a pap smear would be best to tell what exactly could be happening.....but they couldnt see us for nearly another month! 2.We make it to our appointment date and wait.....and wait.....and WAIT.It literally takes them all day to see us. We were there for a total of 5 hours.FIVE HOURS WITH AN APPOINTMENT. When we were finally called, the Dr. strolled in smiling (insensitive to the fact that our whole day had been wasted despite our early morning appt.). She asked US what we were there for. We, in shock, told her we were there for a pap. She said surprisingly that we werent. We disputed this by stating that that is exactly what was suggested to us and that is exactly what we set up. During initial set up of the appt., we even verified with them whether or not the exam would be covered by our insurance. Now they didnt know why we were here?! 3.They do the exam. She does a breast exam at the end and claims to feel a lump and signs us up to go to an entirely different Dr. for x-rays. By the time we left that place, they were literally locking the door behind us. Again, with no apology for their slow paced service. 4. We made an appt to get the results of our pap. The x ray results had already been mailed (surprise, surprise....no lump and no reason that we shouldve been there at all). They call a literal hour before we were set to be seen to reschedule. Finally, we reschedule and wait for over two hours to get a simple set of results. 5.When we finally get called two hours after our 10am appt, we had to wait in a room for more than 15min. Finally, we gathered our stuff and made for the door. The Dr. saw us and questioned where we were going. We immediately let her know that we had somewhere to be and could wait no longer. She asked if we could come back. We shook our heads vehemently! (After waiting two hours??Nope) She, with attitude, said that she guessed she could stop what she was doing to see us. 6.Heres the kicker! She took one look at our charts and exclaimed, "Oh!You were just waiting on results? You couldve gone before those last two patients! They were getting annual check ups!" Why, after making an appt and checking in upon our arrival did no one make this connection? Why did we wait two hours, begin to walk out, and get attitude from a supposed professional before being told that it was all in vain? 7. As we were hurriedly making our way out of this place, she said she couldnt "let" us go without me setting my own appt. (haha!) and proceeded to physically bar me with her arm from leaving. I had to push free to get out of there and refuse to ever set foot in that place! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR! Keep scrolling by and find a real OB/GYN! Ghetto, horrible service, slow moving are just three words for this place and its staff. Parking will leave your tires flat. The broken glass over the door is a safely hazard. The waiting area offers a single small tv, no refreshments, and one tiny bathroom. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Take your money where it will be appreciated!

I went to this doctors office a few days ago for my very first prenatal visit. This is our first child and we are so excited, so I was really looking forward to this appointment. I had an idea of what to expect just from searches online about first prenatal appointments but of course there were still a few jitters. I arrived about 10 mins before my appointment and overall the receptionist was decent. She was not really friendly ( a quality I think all receptionist should have), but she was ok. After being there for about 20 mins I was called in the back for my vitals. The lady took me into a small room and began asking me medical questions when suddenly her cell phone rings and to my astonishment...she answered it! She didnt excuse herself from the room to take the call or anything. She had her conversation right in front of me. So all I could do was sit there and wait for her conversation to be over. Very rude and a huge NO NO! Once we were done, I went back to the waiting room to wait for another 30 minutes to be called to see the doctor. After being called and waiting in the room for about 5 mins, the doctor comes in and she has a medical student with her. I assumed the student was there to shadow the doctor but at no point during my appointment did she introduce the student to me or ask if I would mind if she sat in on my appointment. I guess she just àssumed that she didnt have to ask for my consent since she is the doctor. This totally rubbed me the wrong way and was extremely rude and unprofessional. This stranger bexame previ to all of my information and really made the apointment uncomfortable. As the appointment began she asked if my pregnancy was planned. I hesitatied for a moment and then told her yes and no. I explained that my husband and I wanted a child but that this was not the time we anticipated conceiving. Before I could even say all of this, she said to me "well were you doing anything to keep from getting pregnant?...Well it was planned then." Her comment was so judgemental and unnecessary in my opinion. At one point during the appointment she even attempted to argue with me about when I had my first paper smear. She was not my physician at that time nor.did she have my medical records so I could not understand her adimacy. I truly believe that she is accustomed to dealing with a certain type of patient and it is definitely reflected in her bedside manner. Overall she was pretty thorough. There was little to no dialogue in the appointment just her rattling off what she saw on her computer and it was so apparent that I was just her 9:45am appointment.i enjoy bonding with my physicians but after this horrible first impression, that will never happen. She didnt try to see me as a woman or a first time mother. Very disappointing. Dr. Braswell seems to be a relatively good physician but needs to work on her bedside manner and professional sensitivity. I will not be going back here and cant say I would recommend this doctors office to anyone else.

The receptionist that makes appointments when you first walk in was very rude. I have an appointment and I showed up early. Went to sign in and before I could talk she started talking over me shaking her head saying " No you dont have no appointment right now, thats the reason for appointments". But When I have an appointment I still dont be scene on time so that was just a "smart ass" remark she wanted to say... as well as other unnecessary things If she would have let me talk. "O you got a long way till your appointment so you can go have a seat". Im just here for a results, the morning attitude was not necessary, she was very rude. The first appointment I ever had here, the assistant in the back was unprofessional as well and I felt very uncomfortable. I guess a former employee was fired or left and a patient ask what happened, at the same time the assistant was talking to me and attending to me just to STOP to converse with the patient, she tells the patient "o Ill have to tell you about that later" if was rude and no form of security. I felt like they could easily talk about a patient the same way. She was loud and i just didnt feel right. I would not come back here!!!!! Besides the staff, the Doctor was very pleasant and I was comfortable with here. But I wont be back.
