Run for your life, I am diabetic and Kaiser has refused to provide lifesaving medication. My Kaiser physician tried to continue my current course of treatment and prescribed the same medications I was taking prior to enrolling with Kaiser. Kaiser refused to pay for the medication. Then I was told I could take a written prescription and pay cash at an outside pharmacy but we still have to pay the premiums to Kaiser. The cash price is approximately $1200.00 a month so I have to decide between paying for mortgage, utilities and food for my family or paying for medication that had always been covered at no cost to me by my former insurance company, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia. My medical history is well documented. I have been with Kaiser for 4 months now without any medication. The question is, how will I make it 8 more months without meds until the next open enrollment. My blood sugar is higher and higher each day, frankly, it is dangerously high. THE INSURANCE COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE TELLING THE DOCTOR WHAT TO DO. Kaiser only wants well members. If you have any health issues don’t enroll with Kaiser. Every time I am in the Kaiser office, the cancer patients look like they are going to drop dead in the office in front of me. And frankly, when does anyone know when they will become ill. Also, thru this process, I learned if you are vacationing outside of the seven or eight states that have Kaiser Offices and become ill, you have to pay for the doctor visit and seek reimbursement from Kaiser. What kind of healthcare is that? If you want to live . . . RUN. If you have any health issue . . . RUN. If you value your life . . . RUN, Kaiser will kill you.

I made an appointment for my ear at 10 and then it took them like an hour to weigh me and take my blood pressure then I had to wait to go to see the doctor for another 30 minutes and she didnt even seem to know what she was talking about then she gave me a prescription and I go to get it and its $200 and I have medical and the lady at the front was very rude. So of course she proscibes something that my medical doesnt cover to make more money and now I have to wait even longs so the pharmacy can get in touch with her to get a different brand of medicine. Ive been here over 2 hours this is a joke!

Being new to the Kaiser family, I was a bit nervous about changing providers. However, I have experienced nothing but greatness since making the switch. The Cascade location provides comfort for the "newbies" and exceptional customer service. Great Job Kaiser of Cascade Road in Atlanta, Ga.

Really enjoyed coming here for the first time. This building is hidden but its very easy getting here. The employees were very nice and they made me feel good because they knew I was sick. Theyre really fast. I was in and out in one hour. I would recommend this place to anyone!

I leave KP with a heavy heart. Dr. Charles Fowler, and the staff at KP, will be greatly missed. Appointments may be scheduled quickly and a same day nurse appointment is an available option. The online system is user friendly, on site pharmacy is wonderful.
