Ive been using Planned Parenthood for birth control consultations & prescriptions for years because my insurance is just horrible. The environment is nice because you have a lot of privacy. Just dont ever go on days when they offer other services, like abortion, because the people who wait outside the property line are flat out disgusting. Its not the facilities fault, of course, and they do everything they can to make sure you have as much privacy as possible. So I cant say anything negative about the staff. What made me want to review was a few things...First, the appointment time you make is basically useless. Showed up 20 min early for my appointment, was seen nearly TWO HOURS after it was scheduled. Very frustrating. Also, I had ask the doctor (who I saw for a total of 3 minutes) about other birth control options & she kind of just brushed me off & told me to do my research. Well, to me, there is no better research than ASKING A DOCTOR. When I picked up a few months of BC that day, I came home to find that two would be expired by the time they were needed...real nice. Phone calls to get this fix went without an answer & I ended up skipping all the break weeks just so I could use all of my packs. This facility is quite a drive for me & I dont have a lot of time to just go & switch pills. My last issue was receiving my pills by mail. There was a lot of confusion with the person who took my information to charge my credit card, when theyd start shipping pills & how much theyd be charging. I was met with a lot of "I dont know" which is pretty frustrating. My credit card was charged yet they didnt ship out until a week later. Why not ship when you charge me? Overall, Ill still likely visit here, because my insurance is an even bigger pain in the butt. I just wish there was better organization & answers to simple questions. I wish the dr would be more open about taking questions & concerns.

Ive been going to PP almost 2 years now and Ive always had good experiences but today was absolutely the best! I recently got switched (not my choosing) to a different insurance plan with Catholic physicians that wouldnt allow me to use my insurance at PP and wouldnt allow me to get contraceptives with their own doctors if it wasnt for health related reasons only. So I figured I would have to pay out of pocket for my depo shot which is pretty pricey for me since I only work weekends because I focus my time in my schooling so I can have a career as a biomedical engineer. PP has this amazing thing called Title X that helps reduce the cost of contraceptives for women like me whose health providers deny the coverage of contraceptives offered at PP or for women who dont have insurance in general. Thanks to Title X Im covered 100% but also thanks to Teresa, an amazing employee who was so welcoming and caring, for informing me that I was financially covered if I wanted to switch to the IUD which I have always wanted to but had always been much too expensive to afford before. Teresa doubled checked everything and set an immediate appointment for me so I can switch contraceptives while I still can before the Trump administration tries to defund Planned Parenthood. Its sad how some religious people believe that government money funds abortion which is an absolute lie. Government funding helps PP solely on things like STD testing, preventative care, and Title X that has helped so many women like me who cant afford birth control on their own. And if the Trump administration succeeds in defunding PP it would just take away the help Planned Parenthood offers to its patients. Thank you Teresa!!! I am so grateful for you and all the employees at Planned Parenthood that helps empower women to take control of their own reproductive system at an affordable price because of Title X.

I wish I could give this place no stars just based off the rude check in staff when you first walk in. Well before I went to this location as a walk I made sure to call and ask questions before I wasted my time going in. I spoke with I think her name was Abby or Gaby and she was very nice and helpful when I asked if you can walk in for Pregnancy tests. So when i actually went I was told by not 1 but 2 rude girls where you check in I think one name tag said Jennifer Or maybe Jessica she had glasses and I didnt catch a good look and the other girl name tag but she had gaped snagged teeth and rude! So i was told by both of them that they dont do walk ins for pregnancy test and I would have to schedule appointment for this. Even though I made sure to call and ask before I wasted my time! I am really displeased about how rude the check in staff was and the dark gaped tooth one was on her phone and turned her back once she was done being rude to me! Either I was told the wrong information or these two girls were just being rude to me and didnt want to help me. I went at a reasonable time as well because I asked for location hours when I called to inquire the information I was seeking. I also asked to speak with a manager and was told they were in a meeting so there was no one that could assist me at that moment. This location is horrible based off the people they have checking in patients and those two girls need serious attitude adjustments! So for management please get your staff to be more helpful and pleasant to patients !

I used to go to PP in the city and those clinics are excellent and I have given them a 5 star. This clinic needs to step up thier game. My boyfriend and I have been trying to get treated for an STD. I tested positive and he went to get tested and get treatment. The woman that helped him gave him an attitude and jeered at him. He submitted a sample and was given treatment on the same day anyways. We never heard back on the results so 2 months later when it was time to get retested as a follow up we called to see what his original test result were. THEY NEVER SUBMITTED HIS SAMPLE FOR TESTING! 2 months had passed and they dropped that ball and never told us! They told him he could come in and get retested that day, for free. He dropped everything to do so and when he showed up to get retested he was told upon reception that they were too busy to get him tested and that he would have to come back another time. BAIT AND SWITCH! There were only 3 cars in the parking lot too! Im extremely frustrated and disappointed by this PP. When dealing with delicate situations like this, I would expect more professionalism. This is someones health and well being that were dealing with. Its complete bullshit that I, a woman who was the one who spread the STD, gets met with kindness and respect and my boyfriend who is the victim in this, gets treated like a second hand citizen. Go to a different planned parenthood than this one. Avoid the unprofessional sexism.
