This is my first time to this clinic. My initial impression at the check-in counter was lousy. The lady asked me to sign in an electronic box before telling me what my signature is authorizing. Then when I asked she said its to authorize treatment and to state that I was given a copy of the privacy practices, of which I of course did not receive. I told her, Im sorry but Im not going to sign my name in a little black electronic box when I 1) have no idea what it is REALLY authorizing because I see no text or documents or anything, and 2) never received OR read the treatment/privacy statement at all. She fumbled around for several minutes trying to find a paper copy of it for me to sign as I looked around at 20+ people sitting here in the waiting room. I wondered, nobody EVER asks what the hell they are signing their name for?? Really? Wow people. Anyway, the actual service was very quick otherwise... they called me back before I even got finished reading and signing a 1-page thing. The nurse was super nice, and sat down to ask all the required nursey questions and even joked around a bit and exchanged a couple stories. VERY personable. After that, I only waited maybe 5 minutes max. before the doctor came in. And again, VERY personable and very nice person. She heard me out (and my list of things to discuss was long) and didnt make me feel like she was on a time clock. As for ordering labs and making referrals, everything was quick and painless. Even the lab tech knew how to stick a needle painlessly. I really have NO idea what these other reviewers are talking about as I did not experience anything negative at all other than that stupid "sign here" thing, other than maybe a couple girls in the back by the computers with shifty eyes, almost looking like they were high school kids gossiping. But, I have to say overall, I was very pleased and the nurse & doctor were great.

I was assigned a new doctor after my nurse practitioner retired. At our initial visit I requested that she send a new prescription for my blood pressure medications to my medicare pharmacy as the old ones had expired. At that time I still had a supply of meds on hand. from the previous prescription. The pharmacy never received a prescription and were unable to make contact with anyone at Crusader Clinic in Belvidere. That was nine days ago. When I was informed of the problem I tried calling Belvidere but was told to call my pharmacy again. I made sure all the info my pharmacy had was correct and a representative and I called Belvidere together. We were transferred to another line and put on hold for a very extended period of time and eventually gave up on the call, but the pharmacy agent promised to try again the following day. Since then I have called and spoken to people at Belvidere repeatedly and two more people from the pharmacy have attempted to get the prescription authorized. I have received good care at Crusader Clinic in the past and getting necessary prescriptions has not been a problem. However, now all of the people Ive talked to there seem mainly interested in shunting the problem onto someone else, unhelpful and/or ignorant. Since they cant or are unwilling to handle something as simple as this I certainly dont trust them with more serious health issues. Im seeking another health care provider.

Took my kids there once and it was ok. The doctor we saw was not very personable. Went back a second time and sat in a room for 2 hours!! I work in the healthcare field and understand that running behind schedule is common but what really upset me is that not one person came in to tell me they were behind or that they didnt know how long it was going to be. Every time I asked them they said well your next. Then once the doctor came in she looked through the chart (instead of reviewing it ahead of time) and said oh you didnt need to come in for this, we could have just done it for you. SOOO now not only have I wasted 2.5 hours of my time sitting waiting, I never even had to come in which the office staff would have known had they reviewed the chart ahead of time! Im finding a new doctor for my kids. I wont be back.

They never answer their phone calls and when having other appointments for my kids I would go up to see if I could make an appointment for myself because I am almost 2 months pregnant and they said I had to call. I went back a second time and they said the exact same thing I mean if I was already there how had was it to just assign be a date and give me a copy. Over all lack of care and passion for job and I still dont have an appointment.

I have been going to the Belvidere Crusader Clinic for probably 8 to 9 yrs now and for the most part have been happy with the care I have received from the staff. The only time I have had a long wait time was when they squeezed me in for lab work. When I didnt have insurance, they provided me with affordable health services and help with medications.

I would rate this facility as a zero but thats not an option. This facility is pointless to have here they have no clue what they are practicing nor do they care to do anything that involves effort. It was also brought to my attention that you are not considered a human being but a measly number on their paychecks. Rude. Inconsiderate.

I hate the fact that I needed a free clinic. However, the staff was extremely helpful and understanding with my situation. They provided the forms for generous discounts and savings. Yeah, I had to wait a while, so what? People who gripe about bad services should just go to the high end hospitals and pay full price for better care.

The nurse midwife I met with was not personable and treated me like a number. It was my first time meeting with her and there was no effort to build a relationship or connection with me. It made me feel as if I will have no real support at the birth of my baby.

I have been going to this place last 4 years cuz no choice. But I have never once received good service. They are rude and dont listen to you they insist its something else. The wait time is beyond ridiculous beacaue u can hear them sitting round laughing.

rude. invasive. constantly makes excuses for mistakes or their lack of organization. rescheduled 1 appointment 3 times we t in the 3rd time amd claimed machine was not working. switched providers.
