I made an appointment two weeks in advance for a prenatal visit and consultation to meet the doctor and see if I would like to make him my babys pediatrician. An hour before my appointment Dr. Fains receptionist called me and told me that he canceled my appointment because "he does not know me, knows nothing about me, and knows no midwives". I tried to ask her if I could call him back to reschedule and she began to get rude saying that I needed to find another doctor. Im planning on delivering with a midwife, maybe this freaked him out, but it honestly has nothing to do with the care that an infant needs after they are born. I will have to look at this as a blessing in disguise and find another doctor where me and my new baby are welcome.

He cares about his patients. Sometimes we cant be seen as fast as I would like but when you get an appointment he doesnt rush you out. He ask questions and makes sure he understands what is going on with your child before diagnosis.
